21 RepliesThorn is only earned with no void primary, and not having elemental primaries. I did the crucible part with only magnetic grenades and a green shotgun and soloed the strike as a lvl 26 (tried one week for about 1.5 hours as a 25, then farmed mats to level my gear to be 26) Also, I had to level up my thorn by FARMING MATS ON PATROL FOR HOURS. You know nothing about earning.

Thorn was my first exotic. Got it with a green shotgun and green heavy I bought from the gunsmith. Didn't realize the importance of elements till then. Was not fun.

Void BTRD made it super easy on my hunter for PS.. I would just hang back after heavy dropped waited for all the explosion to go away then would go on a nice kill streak..:) Xbox I only had Atheons Epilogue... I hated it.. Lol

Got that bounty on my Hunter on December, I think. Since then I've been slowly trying to do the crucible part with only a void fusion rifle. It became a frustrating time consuming nightmare and I sincerely got to the point of deleting the fuc#ing bounty yesterday. The only way I'm willing to do that bounty again is if i get it with my warlock.

1 ReplyI got another one... Funniest thing was when I was doing my bounty, I went more positive than usual using Oversoul Edict, Split Shifter Pro, and Truth. Seriously... Just saying, you don't need it to win, or do well.

That's a lot of work for a single gun in a crappy game.. hopefully you use it more than allt he other guns you've wasting your life grinding for.
