Anyone else having a hard time doing well in trials?
The average crucible player will win 1-2 games in trials against all the die hard pro players.
I think Bungie should work on a system for either skill based matchmaking or players that have been flawless during the week's trials should play other flawless players.
What do you guys think?
Maybe this post can be seen by the top Brass and get some recognition or solid feedback!

I think BUNGIE should make a skill tree for players, so 1-3 Wins category, 4-6 Wins Category, 7-9 win category, and Flawless category. Players are placed into these category's based on how consistent they do in Trials. This will also prevent carrying, so players really earn their flawless victory and loot. Personally I find myself going up against elite clans the go flawless 3 times a week, vs, me and my friends who get about 5 wins a trials. See what I'm talking about here?

Yes it should have better match making. Lighthouse contenders should be paired with other light house contenders. Scrubs shouldn't get paired with pro or mlg gamers. If you have been to the lighthouse you automatically have the emblem equipped and are paired with others who have emblem and have been also. Fights would be fairer and more competitive. In halo you didn't have rank 1's fighting true rank 50's...... (Usually.)

Would rather flawless runners for the week only be matchmade with other flawless runners in their own bracket, going to the lighthouse once is great, but to go twice in the same week you should have to prove yourself against those who have also to get twice the rewards. Skolas is a one shot deal, I can't get multiple drop chances for doing it multiple times the same week, no extra etheric light. For endgame activity, if you can be rewarded multiple times for doing it again, it should challenge those who did it once even more.

I believe a ranking system would be fantastic. I'd love to know what I'm up against in the pregame screen. However, I believe that matchmaking those whose connections are best suited for one another is ideal. Matchmaking based on skill rather than connection would diminish the experience, IMO.

Some sort of ranking system just for the trials would be ideal. It's got to the point it's putting people off playing the trials.

They need to change the match making they got in place at the moment ! Same skilled against same skilled I like a challenge but getting placed with pro gamers who go flawless every week due to getting placed against the less formidable opponents is ruining it Something needs to change

I think card based mm would be better

Yes please!

Yes, it needs to go to skill level matching, not remain connection based matching. Also, once someone goes flawless, they need to get placed in a flawless players only bracket where all they'll get matched with is other flawless folks.
-
Yes it needs it badly. It's meant to be a challenge. It's no challenge for people who go flawless every weekend to fight people who are leagues behind them. If I could fight opponents who were at my skill level it would still be a challenge without it being outright impossible. And I promise the people who've been going 9-0 constantly wouldn't be able to if they had to fight people at their level.

I like it, but I think random matchmaking and real fireteams should be separated. I think any day a real fireteam of people on Mic's, know each other, and communicate together will destroy a random match made team.
-
There's barely any skill you have people using the same guns. I think they should just make trials 6 vs. 6 control with completely random teams that would make it better

Keep the feedback coming and the topic alive guys! This needs to be seen by Bungie!

No I like going 5-0 against a bunch of people then the next match go 5-4...
-
Haven't tried it due to poor reviews and my luck id get close and get booted like I did the one and only time I tried Skolas lol. No checkpoints ruined it for me. Me going on a lfg site and finding 2 randoms for trials like they want is pretty much random matchmaking. -blam!-in dumb. So sick of manually typin in GT into friends search then manually typing messages. Pretty achaic and lazy on their behalf. Matchmake randoms with other randoms. Matchmake teams with other teams. Simple. They did it in halo for -blam!- sakes.

Yes, but only the wins should matter, not the number of times a person has gone flawless. Eg. If my team has three wins we should be matched against another team with three wins.
-
Yeah lile a CS GO rank system.

Edited by Agent York: 7/13/2015 3:48:36 AMI've been 9/0 and I still think it needs to be skill biased. I'm a pretty good player but my dtr skill level on destiny tracker is only 17. I should have never been paired up against a team that had skill levels in the 50s but I have been.

the problem here is the lighthouse is not meant for the average crucible player. only those who are good can get there. thats the whole thing about the lighthouse. Its meant to be a reward for the good crucible players. if it was meant for everyone it would take away the significance of it. i agree flawless should play flawless but besides that not much u can do

I was pretty intimidated by it since its release, but decided to give it a try tonight and got 7 wins, a full armor set with perfect stat balance and unbelievable perks. Really enjoyed it. I equipped my armor set on my Hunter if you want to examine it. Got my heart pumping a couple times for sure. Definitely gonna give it another go next week. Praying for that flawless Lighthouse run.
