Destiny is to casual for world bosses. Patrol is pointless, and would require a complete overhaul to make it relevant. You want epic world boss battles? Go play Borderlands :)
How would they reward you for beating a world boss? Engrams? Materials? There is no inventory space for that. Make it relevant drops and people will farm them and say F.U. to a large portion of the current content. Bungie missed the mark with this game. All you can do is hope they learned their lesson and change the direction of the franchise with future installments. All you will get with Destiny 1.0 is rehashed content packaged in a download, and marketed/sold as an "expansion". I don't think the current game can be expanded much more than its current state.

Also if you read the entire post, you would see i tied in to someone elses post for the drop, which would act much like an armor core in PoE, redeemable at the Outposts his post wants to put on each planet, which could be placed in an as yet unopened areas. That would be the reward, along with Glimmer or something like an amethyst that provides a bunch of glimmer.

Or, another avenue to get Planet specific armors and/or weapons. Its all how you look at it. If you look at it as another avenue to gain items as opposed to just a grind then it feels better. Case in point i play this game for fun, as i do with most games, except this one i get rewards for certain activities, so its like a bonus. If you are not having fun playing a game its time to pack up and move on, because it will never get better for you.

Already did. After 800+ hours on Destiny and giving the game more than enough chances, I have moved onto ESO and am loving every minute of it. ESO has more content in the first 30 minutes than Destiny has all together.

There are more than enough players that would go for world bosses, destiny may be pretty casual, but there are plenty of people who play a lot and play to win. As for Patrols, simple starting with making separate levels of Patrol could make them more relevant, with very little work, as the would only need to up the levels of the enemies, while leaving everything else pretty much alone. Not to mention doing it the way i outlined makes certain things relevant again, like blades of Crota. I welcome your feedback, but the point of this is to make things relevant again, and make them more relevant continuing in the future, as out levels grow patrol will be less and less useful aside from bounties.

It.isnt.possible.in.Destiny's.current.state. It doesnt matter how much you or anyone else would like to see it in game. Sorry to tell you that your dream of world bosses is nothing more than a post on a public internet forum. It will never happen in Destiny 1.0.

I dislike your negativity. It is unwarranted and unnecessary. Last time i checked only people who work for the company can state things that are totally not possible. Unless you are saying you are a bungie, or activision employee and can make an official statement supporting your claim. If it isnt i will kindly ask you to remove your negativity from my post.

Someone is butt hurt... Do you even read these forums? Bungie cannot even fix minor bugs/balance weapons/increase vault space/etc. but you expect this to actually have a chance at happening? Actually assuming someone is bothered by what you or anyone else says is rather ignorant. While yes i would rather remain hopeful about something like this, than be a dejected, pessimistic person who feels they need to rain on other peoples outlooks just because the game isnt the way you want it to be. For example. when you said its impossible, which it isnt, hard for them to do maybe but not impossible. the only impossible thing in this world is slamming a revolving door. If you were to edit your posts to be less negative (Note: they do not need to be positive) just more neutral, that would be perfectly acceptable.

I am not trying to censor your opinion, i am asking you to abstain from excessive negativity. Also unless you worked on THIS game, your opinion on what can and cannot be done is about as useful as a Fluffer's. All i did was ask that you remove your negativity, and all you do is get hostile about your opinion, i said your opinion matters and asked you to reword it minus the Negativity, i didnt tell you to i asked you. As i am trying to keep negativity off this because there is enough negativity on this forum already. Which you could have done in a far less negative way. You could have voiced your opinion in many ways, the part i have is the excessive negativity of them. Your opinion matters, your negativity on the other hand does not.
