Satoru Iwata dies(Nintendo's President)

Iwata was forced to skip last year’s E3 due to his poor health, and shortly afterwards underwent surgery to remove the bile duct growth.[/quote]
[quote]Iwata first joined Nintendo in the 1980s, where he worked on games like Balloon Fight and EarthBound. He became a Director of the company in 2000, and in 2002 was appointed as only the fourth President of Nintendo.[/quote]

Edited by Sailor Mars: 7/13/2015 4:42:41 AMVery sad to hear that he had passed away. He may not have always made the right decisions while he was president of Nintendo but he had a unique vision for what games and consoles can be and took chances when others wouldn't. An end of an era :'(
