Edited by TheDoubleOh: 7/13/2015 8:17:33 AMMan wish I also had the luck you are having, I too am a new streamer and posted about my stream a few hours ago asking for advice and only got one response which was "play something other than destiny" Lol. I'm just looking to engage in different ways with this community and feel I am skilled enough at this game to be entertaining in both gameplay and personality but Oh well I'll keep streaming and enjoying the views as they come in. I'll check out your stream sometime and drop a follow. If you are interested mine is The_Double_Oh, I have a few previous broadcast up including a flawless run from last night. Thank and good luck with your channel.

Most important thing: do it for FUN. If you focus too much on wanting the fame and the money, you will eventually be a dick. Please stream for fun. Another important fact: be consistent. Make a schedule or let your followers know when you go live. If you can't go live because of private reasons, just announce it on Twitter. Twitter is very important for streaming, because you can announce your streams and communicate with your followers.

I wish I had as much luck as you on these forums. I posted about my stream and all I got was hate, negativity, toxic, and hopeless responses like I should quit cuz I'm late in the game or they would rather watch shesmynerd over me or whatever. I try to be a community, nonprofit streamer who just wnjoys helping the community by raiding, PoE, and Exotic chest. But I hope this negativity never crosses your way. Best of luck to you guardian, and never quit. "Never let toxic and negative people rent space in your head. Raise the rent and kick them out!" -Unknown

Edited by OniDarkClown: 7/13/2015 3:07:36 AMThe generic tips for streaming is more or less this: Make a schedule and stick to it. That way any fans of your stream will know when you are on, and when to tune in. Be your self. Don’t try and act like someone you are not. Just be Be you. Engage your audience. Anyone can play a game, people will come to watch you for the experience. Say hi, be a bit chatty (no so much that you stop dead at playing). That’s more or less what I remember from some streaming site FAQ. For the life of me, can’t remember where, or why I was looking it up. As for just getting viewers, Just do what you did here on other social media sites. Make a post, put a link and see if you get any takers. Good luck to you.

Don't be a dick. Too many people pull dick moves and get caught later on. Be honest, be cool, and you'll go far.
