I am having trouble share playing Destiny with a friend who has hosted many times the game with me. It's telling me that it's not been released in my area or region but we've not moved since we last share played.
I can share play other games with them when they host. I also can't share play Destiny with other friends I have tried within the past couple of days. We all live in the US, varying states.
PSN Support said that you might have changed your share play policy and directed me to you, the devs, and activision's twitter assist. I've contacted both after this post. I also play the game digitally and they play disc. The only thing that i've done recently, I think before I tried to share play, was change my DNS through my Internet Modem. Not sure if that makes a difference or not. If you need anymore information please ask.
Thanks.

I have also been experiencing this issue for some time now. I was patiently looking for responses to other posts but none seem to be forthcoming. I'm trying to help out a friend on a particular task but am no longer able to Shareplay as we did before. We are in the same province (Canada), so the error message that "the game has not been released in your country or region" is incorrect. The only thing that we've done differently, that I can tell, is that I bought the Guardian edition (PS4) and he bought the two DLCs separately (poor guy). We were able to shareplay before, but I don't recall if it was prior to House Of Wolves or a patch issued by Bungie. As op states, shareplay works fine with other games. Has anyone experienced this and fixed the issue or is it a lost cause and I will simply have to leave the comfort of my couch and go visit the friend in the real world to help him out? ;)
