True, weapon balance is never perfect at launch and there's only so much you can test in a closed environment and they've only had a beta for cod once, I believe for world at war.
If they are going to start doing betas though, that will no longer be an excuse.
Also, I got the game at launch digitally but got a full refund from microsoft a week later (thank god). Weapon balance was atrocious then which is excusable, but from what I've read online, and hear from friends, it's still pretty bad.
With the yearly cycle, weapon balance should be a top priority and fixed quickly. It's July and it's still not balanced correctly. That is a big problem and inexcusable. No one besides people who can't afford it, or for some reason, actually enjoyed advanced warfare is gonna be playing it once black ops 3 drops.
So for them to not have the balance right 8+ months later, means they have failed.
