Now, I'm not just talking about a passing fancy or "just because" support, I'm talking about putting that mark, cloak or bond on and having a little pride in these guys. I know there are few people out there who care enough about the Crucible, let alone one of the 3 subfactions but I do want to make an effort to find others like myself who really support Dead Orbit. There is ACTUALLY lore behind D.O. and their ideals are both controversial and interesting. Dead Orbit is both a network of companies and political movement that are working hard to push humanity, awoken and exo included, into the stars. They see a future not here on Earth and the Sol system, but traveling to another solar system. The New Monarchy and Future War Cult see Dead Orbit as cowards for their goal of leaving their home but none can deny that when the Darkness returns, it will lay waste to what we have left. This isn't to say that Dead Orbit are cowards. Quite the opposite. From what I've learned of Dead Orbit, the idea of fighting to the end to protect Earth and the Sol system is indeed futile. Those who wish to stay shall do so, those who wish to forge a new life among the stars and stay ahead of the coming Darkness must ensure our survival. Dead Orbit is building a fleet, the Exodus fleet and needs every Guardian willing to help to gather resources, knowledge and support as well as maintain security of the people and the fleet. Dead Orbit's Arachs, the future leaders of the Exodus work tirelessly to both secure resources and spend them wisely on Guardians who now work to defeat our enemies and will soon act as security for the expanding fleet. Dead Orbit has faced the fact that unless the Traveler wakes and leads us against the Darkness, we will be forced to leave it behind, but it is a sacrifice we have to be ready to make for the survival of humanity. New Monarchy reviles us as cowards because we are willing to leave our cradle and mature among the stars. Let them stay and buildall the luck in the world be with them. The Future War Cult call us scared children, running from a fight that they know we cannot win alone. Let them stay and fight to the last as humanity is winnowed away to nothing, let them die on their feet. Humanity was never meant to stay in it's cradle forever. We must grow, we must mature, we must cast ourselves into the void and stay ahead of the Darkness for as long as we can.
