Eisenhower, because he implemented the many welfare and government aid programs that the lowlifes and deadbeats of America take advantage of today.
So you mean to tell me that a couple in their mid twenties that has 2 kids and haven't worked in years can get $300+ in food stamps and govt. aid, housing etc. While my 75 year old war vet grandpa and my grandma who have worked since they were 16 can only get $30 in food stamps, when they struggle to pay their bills and feed themselves? Seems fair America

Yes I hate this sooooo much. I have had personal experiences with this and it is very unfair that just because I'm an only child of a family we are turned down, but when another family has 4 (or more...) children and are accepted while not trying to do anything to get out of the situation to take advantage of it...whew! Sorry I just had to rant a bit!

But welfare is necessary in certain situation. But I do agree it is abused by many people.

If anything I'm a liberal leaning Libertarian. I support the right to bear arms, I'm for gay marriage and gay rights, climate change is very real, I support the separation go church and state, I believe that evolution should be taught in schools. I think that welfare is a misuse of funds and should be reformed, vaccinations should be enforced by law (not allowing any objections religious or otherwise), I support the legalization of marijuana (just so I never have to hear a hipster stoner speak about it ever again) etc. I may have some conservative tendencies, but I'm not a staunch conservative

I agree with you on most of these things. The only one I have a problem with is guns. I don't mind people owning them, but getting a license should require extensive mental tests. That way, all of the sane people, like you, get to keep their guns. All the nutters are stuck with bats.
