It sounds like a great idea, but it would become abusive as someone who may have multiple mythoclasses could just trade it to a lvl27 who has never experienced vog for a few things. It would be extremely restrictive if they implemented it

1 ReplyI have every exotic except dregs promise and I have an elder cipher almost done to get it. Would love to be able to trade with my raid group so they can enjoy the same weapons that I have doubles and triples of since I will just turn them to shards. It's RNG anyway. I say YES!!

If you want to trade something(armor, weapons, or consumables) as soon as it changes hands any progression on armor or weapons is completely zeroed out. You'd have the piece, but you would have to grind it from zero like any other piece. The value of it would be much less. Bungievision could set it up that the only way it could change hands is if in game currency is used. They could set up an auction system as well that will only work with in game money. The only way you should be able to trade without cash should be if you are in a clan or if someone is on your friends list.

I lean towards no. You'll have people selling gear for real money and exploiting others. May as well introduce micro transactions.

Honestly, I'm going to say no. Not because it ruin the game, many of the people posting have put forth ways it could work. But if you trade items the temptation for real money to change hands in exchange for gear would be too high. The rng is pain sometimes. But it wouldn't want people to get good gear without effort. Just my opinion.

If yes people will exploit it like the individuals who have people donate to get carried in trials to go flawless Ie Trading a gally for a random purple item And 5 $ to a paypal account Or people selling the shaders on eBay atm.... I would like trading but people will ruin it like WoW Diablo 3 Ect

there isnt enough content (armour,guns,etc) to trade. it would completely break the game

Yes, but they have to be of the same rarity ( legendary for a legendary, exotic for a exotic). Maybe they could do legendary for a exotic, but a rare for a exotic would be unfair.
