Have you tried the Level 35 Prison of Elders? Skolas's Revenge is difficult, especially the 6th Round. The video provides a walkthrough for Round 6 where you have to kill Skolas with solar burn active. Before you enter the map, make sure everyone has Gjallarhorn equipped and at least 6 or 7 rockets. Also make sure your heavy ammo synth is not on cooldown. If it is, wait for it to become available before entering. Once you enter, run all the way to the left side and kill the servitor. Then begin pelting Skolas with rockets as quickly as possible. As soon as you run out of rockets, pop a heavy ammo synth and continue firing. It’s very important to hit him with rockets as fast as you can at this point when there is nothing else for you to worry about. You can try putting up a Weapons of Light bubble, but we found that it drew him in and made him more aggressive, so we stopped using it. Eventually he will burden someone with devouring essence and mines will pop up for you to destroy. Devouring essence will kill the player that has it after 30 seconds, unless it is transferred to another player or you kill Skolas. Once a player passes devouring essence to another player, he or she becomes immune for about 40 seconds and it cannot be passed back to him or her. If you haven’t killed Skolas by the time the mines appear, send one player to the middle of the map so that he or she has time to arrive at and capture mines spawning on the other side of the map. That player cannot be the one with devouring essence. The other two stay back and continue firing at SKolas. If you don’t kill him before the timer runs out, make sure devouring essence is passed to the second player by holding down square. Once you kill Skolas, all the adds go away but you still have to complete 2 rounds of mines in order to complete the level. The first time we killed Skolas, we didn’t know we had to destroy the mines and we died as a result. Once you take care of the second round of mines, then the level is completed. In order to get the shader, emblem, and ship, be sure you have a key to open the big chest. You get the armor core, weapon core, and etheric light no matter what. But to get the shader, emblem, and ship you must open the big chest. So it’s best to save your key for completing the level 35 POE.
