I have lost access to this gamertag "The Rodn3y King" on Xbox Live do to an email issue that prevents me from updating the billings address. I really would prefer not to lose 1,500 hours of gameplay on this account. I'd like to see if there is any possible way that you (Bungie) could transfer/merge the stats and weaps onto my new gamertag "Nerdy Old Man". If I have to lose 1,500 hours of work/gameplay then I will unfortunately probably sell the game, because to do the grind over would be unbearable.

Hello, I hate to tell you your guardians are linked to the account they are created on, and there is no way to transfer them.

Unfortunately, Bungie is unable to transfer Destiny data between accounts, as everything is tied to the account it is first created on.

Hey Rodn3y, Unfortunately, it is not possible to merge or transfer Guardians/gear between accounts, as specified in this article: https://www.bungie.net/en/help/article/12211 I suggest you contact Xbox customer support and see if they can help with recovering your account.
