So I was just browsing the new Armory section on Bungie.net and noticed that for Thorn it says that "Xur, Agent of the Nine, sometimes sells this item in the Tower". I owned this game since Beta and I have never seen Xur sell Thorn or any exotic bounty weapons. As far as I was aware, Xur will not sell weapons that you attain from exotic bounties. Is this is a mistake or has Bungie changed RNG for Xur to include exotic bounty weapons.

Omfg will we have thread these posts until sept 15th?
-
Why worry? All weapons will be useless when TTK launches
-
Well, Fate of All Fools and Intrusion Shell(for ghost) are listed in Armory too. So either it's all jacked up or I'm gonna need Taken King here, stat.
-

You look cute today
-
Either an oversight or a remnant of the old exotic upgrade (as it was basically purchasing a new exotic using your old one)
-
It also says the intrusion ghost shell is gotten from Tess and the Fate of All Fools is obtainable... some are just place holders me thinks.
-
That's how Xbox members will get their opportunities at the old PS exclusive items, via new bounties
-
They most likely did not update his inventory. He used to sell upgrades for those weapons. If you got a gjallarhorn or a bounty weapon or PS exclusive before the dark below the only way you can upgrade was through xur to the higher attack values. Now that we can ascend exotics there is no need for him to sell the upgrades anymore.
-
He sold the upgrade remember
-
It may be a pure oversight or the fact many exotic bounties require a step to purchase something from Xur.
-
Because after TDB came out he sold upgrades
-
Edited by Vengiman: 7/8/2015 8:19:18 PMIt says it because it's for the upgrade to make it go 365.
-
Imagine the flood of tears and hate if xur sold thorn, and then the next week sold Gally lol
-
And in the bradygames official destiny guide, it says warlocks have 2 void subclasses!
-
Yeah, I noticed that. I wonder if that means he will sell them in the future ( after the Taken King comes out ).
-
It we from Dark Below when he sold Weapon Upgrades
-
Probably because the upgrades were sold. And upon upgrading, the game gave you a "new" gun with higher attack, so the armory thinks Xur sold them.
-
Probably just an error/glitch/oversight.. probably took the wind out of the people who saw that Gjallarhorn still shows up under Xur though.
