Edited: I don't need to explain why those who have supported Bungie this whole time are feeling a bit bitter about Destiny's new bundled pricing. Is $40 for one dlc really fair for the gamers who've had Bungie's back since day one? The "thank you"s Bungie will be giving the Loyals at the release of TTK will have to be pretty substantial. That's just it though. Will they be? What should we be expecting? Will the content in TTK justify its pricing?
For those who have already spent more than $100:
Are you willing to pay the full $40 despite knowing that new players can get nearly everything that you've purchased and TTK for just $20 more? Do you think that's fair? Has depreciation made Destiny and its first two dlc worth only about a mere $20?
Please give me your opinions.
Edit: Just as I've said on my other post: "Thank you all for taking the time to reply and give your opinions. You're all the fuel that keeps the fire burning. Stay beautiful lol"
Edit 2: Bump if you can relate. Let's get this noticed by Bungie.

The thing is though so they give you a shader, how long till you swap it out for the one that drops in the raid? Give you a emblem, great but would you use it? And then how long till that's gone too? All the while taking up valuable vault space

They should give us a Legendary Strangers Rifle down the line since everyone playing Destiny at the moment is a year one player.

I think one viable concept would be if- in the DLC that comes out after TTK- Bungie enabled anyone who paid for the game, TDB and HoW when they were all at the original prices (whether by bundle or individually) to access a "secret room/boss fight" in whatever the main content would be (raid, arena, etc). Nothing offered would be outrageously OP, but it should be worthwhile (good quality weapons/armor that don't raise arguments that they're unfair). I don't know, just kind of snowballing. Let me know what you guys think and how you would make this idea into content!

I feel ripped off as well.... My buddy canceled his ttk preorder, half of my other buddies said no more destiny. they are now playing elder scrolls, I keep hearing them say " how come destiny don't have this much content" they havent preorder ttk either... Neither have i. I played destiny for the last 3 weeks , maybe 4 hours combined...I loved destiny but damn..the story feels like I read a two page book...and for 100 bucks? And waste another 40 for half a page maybe? I'm done, I'm just here reading other peoples opinion to see if I'm not alone on how I feel..

Edited by Volare: 7/10/2015 12:11:28 AMIt's sad, it really is. I wish there would be some exotic weapon year one players or just give us that stuff in the legendary edition for free, yes I said free, how much money does one need to spend on one game. Sorry to people if this sounds like I'm spoiled or ranting but just my thoughts.

I believe we should get our own exotic wepon that we get to give input on what it should be and yes the non year ones would be mad but thats there problem for not getting the game sooner.

I've been a bungi fan since halo one and they can be kind and give people the dlc for a gratitude of there fans
-
Yea honestly with all the money we year one players spent the owe us with each dlc we been ripped off we havent gotten our money worth even if they gave us the extra dlc items for free it woodnt be enough

Knowing Bungie (well more specifically Activision), they're going to have the same mentality as shown in the euro gamer interview: "you're still going to buy it at the end of the day anyways.."
-
If you're a loyal fan of Bungie who has already spent plenty of money on Destiny I'd love to hear your opinion.

Edited by iInfinityLimit: 7/8/2015 8:44:38 PMWe shall expect an emblem... Cuz that's all we ever get... Worthless junk. -Example: if you played the beta... You got an emblem. Oh, your welcome for testing your game bungie thanks for this useful item of substantial usefulness... I'd like to bring to light that us year ones had to put up with all the bs and still are...
-
I've been told that they reduced the price to 25$

Edited by paulo15386: 7/9/2015 12:46:38 PMBut we are getting the biggest thank you of all, a shiny exclusive top of the range........emblem Thanks bungie
-
I feel like year 1 players should be given early access to TTK. Whatever loot we find transfers. This in addition to the shader, sparrow, and emblem they already announced. The early access could be good for bungie too. Player feedback and such.

Let's go Bungie. Mentors, ninjas, anyone... Someone prove to me that that I'm not wasting my time and money. If I buy TTK I will have spent about $140. I've played Destiny for hours, I've supported Bungie for years. Yet new fans can get nearly everything we've received for about half the cost that we paid. What are the loyals getting as true compensation? In-game rewards won't cut it.

I have heard activision decides the price, not bungie

Edited by IILoftyII: 7/8/2015 5:38:53 PMIs that all? No one else has a word to put in?

Depends how much your willing to pay and which bundle you buy. :/ well there is that year one legend emblem (wooooohhhoooooo) that you can acquire for finishing legend quests released yesterday, that about all I've heard. So get that money ready to throw towards the screen for your extra emotes or double that cash up and take a loan out and buy all the bundles (so you don't miss out on anything). My opinion very bad marketing move, but who am I just a consumer. 1 of millions....... Would love to have someone explain the logic in this one :/

Edited by Smough: 7/8/2015 4:46:53 PMGive day one players something that nobody else can get. Maybe an exclusive exotic weapon, or maybe a shader.
