Instead of level 20.
Edit. Ok, let's be honest. The emblem is a way to show that you have acomplished and succed at every challenge in Destiny. How a flawless card could be out of those requirements?
I'm not asking bungie to add it, I'm just saying it's odd lighthouse isn't there.
Edit2. I know there are a lot of people cheating at trials, but it's not as bad as some of you say. I have played quite enough and I only have played against 2-3 teams who were clearly cheating. The "op" (I call them cheap) weapons is a whole different matter, that's bungie's fault; but hey! It's not like only a few can use those weapons, everybody can, it's your own decision use them or not.
Edit3. I agree with those who say the emblem will be just a reward for people who have played all the end content, but if they are leaving trials out I think bungie should change some requirements, instead of killing Skolas, Atheon and Crota, it would be better if the requirement was only face them. For a lot people killing Skolas is as hard as getting a flawless passage.
ps If you disagree, you should say it without being rude or acting like a jerk.
Edit4. Everyone knows there's already an emblem for trials, but there are also emblems for killing crota and skolas... So, what's the point of that argument?

Maybe not getting flawless in trials but I definitely agree with at least completing the card. You already get an emblem for flawless and that's a very difficult challenge considering you could be playing all try hards the complete time.
-
If you can't pat your tummy and rub your head, you can't have the emblem....
-
I wonder how many that 'agree' got carried and or cheated.
-
I didn't run into a single team cheating in my 12+ flawless runs.. I play on Xbox one
-
Just the fact that the trials are subject to frequent cheating and people that literally do nothing with their lives but play games that isn't fair to expect everyone to put themselves through that torture just to get a stupid emblem when the lighthouse already has an emblem. This is supposed to be for people that have stuck it out since day one despite all the b******* that this game has done as far as poor choices on Bungie's part.
-
Emblem is for year 1 peeps...it's a symbol for those that played way too much. Additionally, 9-0 flawless is harder than Skolas. Skolas is a chump...who remember taking him out in solar burn around 1 min.?
-
I agree
-
U already get an emblem for going to the light house...so getting another one as part as an achievement would be worthless....matter of fact it would only add to the grind that is Destigrind!
-
I dont think killing skolas is as hard as flawless trials. If skolas kills you you just respawn outside his room and try again. Even random disconnect can be recovered from. Trials two losses with a boon or one without and ya gotta start over. Get dc'd even with a boon here is your loss start over. Flawless trials already has exclusive stuff emblem, burn weapons, shader why want more.
-
Isn't it obvious? It's not included in the year 1 because they have plans in year 2 for it.....
-
no, MLG pro people already get an emblem for going flawless. let the non-MLG pro people like myself have something at least mildly prestigious.
-
But you also have an exotic emblem saying you went flawless, no need to single more people out. Plus the new emblem shows that you have done an assortment of things in the year one, some challenging some that arent. It's not meant to make it seem like you're in the top 10% of the game.
-
I think it shouldn't because trials can still be made relevant by doing what Iron Banner did and update it's rewards unlike PvE rewards that are "locked" to particular content

-
I'm completely with you mate. I think you also should have to have won at least 300 pvp games. Would have made it way more interesting. Something besides some chests to find would have been neat.
-
Haven't been to the lighthouse = scrubs git gud
-
I do find it odd that it's not a requirement. But the again, you do get that exotic emblem for going flawless in Trails anyway. I guess that's why it's not a requirement? Also I suck at elimination in Destiny, especially since the exotic hand cannons got even stronger because of the attack power 365 stat when HoW dropped. That and the two weeks my friends and I attempted, we didn't get far. The second week we tried, we didn't even get a single victory and a friend raged quit after the first 3 matches getting a loss. So I'm probably never gonna look for a group to attempt Trials ever. I really wanted that Warlock helmet too.
-
Maybe not flawless as it is about even with flawless raider, but I would like to see a requirement for players to achieve 8 wins in trials, flawless or not as it's about the same level as a hard mode completion.
-
It's basically a gift to all year one players. They need to make it obtainable for everyone.
-
Would rather have that than killing Skolas
-
Do you know how many day 1 people who are bad at pvp but amazing at pve would scream and cry about that? It'd almost be comparable to the upheaval there was about what that designer guy said.
-
As someone that's been to the lighthouse...I'd have to disagree with you. You already get an emblem for going to the lighthouse so why make it a requirement for another emblem? Also the fact that people come on the forums posting that they're willing to carry people to the lighthouse really negates the authenticity of the whole thing. And lets not forget the cheaters, even if they are few and far between.
-
You already have an emblem for going flawless to make you feel like a super special snowflake so why do you need another one?
-
I disagree most people can be good at pve, but not all can be good at pvp, im an average pvp player and I dont think I would be able to go flawless.
