New Mayhem mode... What will Defenders do?
By the sound's of it I'll be at a disadvantage and would have to change my play style. How will defenders be able to play if their supers don't work?

You'd be kinda silly to play a Defender on Mayhem, from the looks of it. You're much better off running Striker or Sunbreaker.

Spam your fire hammer buddy!!! Screw the bubble, pop some FoH action all over the map or become fire Thor!!! I can't imagine we'll see a single blade dancer or self-res warlock in there, it's going to be crazy!!!

If only mayhem had an objective variant. Id like to try to win games through "passive resistance" like in the old COD days when I'd have my team use riot shields and flash bangs only to win domination matches lol it was so much fun! A team of nothing but defender Titans would be quite the challenge.

1 ReplyUse bubbles offensively. Drop them on a group of enemies and beat them to death. Pop them as a mobile buff point for teammates. You're not going to want to stay inside them for long, that's for sure.

Playing Defender is exactly what it sounds like. It's a supporting role. Weapons of light and Blessing of light aint shit for teammates. I think it'll work just fine. And besides: suppression grenade. A lump of gold often overlooked.

3 RepliesIt will be the same as every other crucible match. Defender Titan pops bubble with a shotgun equipped and several of his shitty teammates will run inside. At least one or two of my shitty teammates will run directly into the bubble with their shotguns. That teammate(s) will die. Then like 6 Nova Bombs and 8 Golden Gun shots will be hurled at the bubble. The Titan and his shitty teammates die. Like clockwork.

I think the best thing to do would be popping it in a location away from people and using weapons of light or blessing to get an advantage but other than that the bubble will be useless
