"I dont know last time i saw it it was about a mile and a half down the road."

"Right well right now that's our only way of getting off planet and reporting back to the Fleet. You need to inform the admiral that the area is infested with wild beasts that can take down whole squads, fighting at night is a no go and there's a possibility of an unknown life form that's been stalking me, let me tell you that was some creepy shit."

"So how are we supposed to get there without being mauled by these, these, things.

"Easy be super quiet, set a distraction in the opposite direction and hope to god whatever has been following me doesn't start knocking on the shuttle when we get in."

"Wait whats that" *points across streets in shadows*

*the look on the mans face gets grim.* "that's what's been following me, quick out from the window. It's in the direction of your ship. Shit tell me what happened to your pilot."

Evan-"I dont know he said i was knocking on his landing ramp and dodging in and out of his sight and i heard some kind of animal eating something over th- oooohh wait."

"Shit...that thing got your pilot... Ok I lied to you. I wasn't the only one to make it out of that nest. One other member of my squad made it out. We were hiding out in buildings trying to scavenge supplies. One day we found other survivors in the sewers and they told about this being that stays in the shadows, it tries to trick you into thinking its human, knocking on your door at night or in your case the ship. It can even mimic human words. We thought they were crazy until one night we were setting up camp in an abandoned building and we heard a knock on the door. My partner went to check it out and he didn't see anything. He turned around for a second to look at me and that's when I saw it in the shadows across the street. Next thing you know we're running through the darkness trying to get out of the area. That was our biggest mistake. In the darkness it seems to thrive, it got my partner and ripped him apart. I think that's the only reason I got away."
