Welcome back Guardians. Here's a little thank-you drawing I made of Rorschach (and yes he is holding a Shrapnel Launcher) for you guys and girls. It's not the best quality of a picture, but I think it came out well. Anyways, thank you all for the support you have shown me and this story.

Chapter 8: New Orders
RRRRRRRAAAAAAGGGGGGHHH!!!!! The guttural roar of a Hive Ogre echoed throughout the cave, shaking the floor beneath Ventryx and her crew.
"Rorschach! Get away from there!" The Baroness yelled as she motioned for him to move away from the hole in the cave wall.
Rorschach barely had any time to react before the Ogre burst through the wall behind him. He rolled to the left as it barreled through. Standing up he shot a burst of shock rounds from his pistol. The Ogre was unfazed by the puny Dreg, and instead focused on Eeslanith, who was slightly damaging the beast. The Ogre, angered by the Vandal, swept his arm at him. Eeslanith dodged, but was a second too late. The impact sent the Vandal flying through the air, slamming into the cave wall next to Rorschach.
Rorschach watched as the life was knocked out of his friend. He rushed over to his dying body and knelt down, completely ignoring the battle behind him.
"Rorschach...take this..." Eeslanith muttered, handing him his Shrapnel launcher. "Don't look at me like that," he said, "your pistol won't do anything to that Ogre. And I'm done for." Rorschach looked back at the others; they were pinned down behind rocks due to the monstrosity's eye-beam.
Where the hell is Prelik when we need him, he thought to himself. "Fine," he said, taking the gun from Eeslanith's claws. "I'll come back for you, Eeslanith, don't worry, we'll fix you up." He then ran behind the Ogre, raising his gun.
Rorschach glanced at his crew then back at the Ogre, steeling his nerves and ignoring the fear inside, he shot three bursts of molten shrapnel at it's back. Grunting in surprise, it slowly turned to face him, each step it took shook the floor. Crap. Looking up at the Ogre, Rorschach shot another burst at it.
"No, Rorschach don't--" Ventryx began
RRRRAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!! The Ogre bellowed, Rorschach turned and ran, the Ogre running right behind him, shaking the cave with every step it took. Suddenly, Rorschach had an idea. He ran towards the mouth of the cave, where Jevik would be waiting in the Skiff.
As he ran, Rorschach threw a shock grenade down to slow the Ogre. Failing to do that, the Ogre charged right through the lightning and continued to chase him.
Nearing the mouth of the cave, Rorschach spoke into his communication device, "Jevik! Ready the Skiff, I'm bringing something your way, something big."
"What! Oh crap, hold on!" The booming of the Skiff's engines could be heard as Rorschach run out of the cave, The Ogre bursting through the rock behind hm.
"Now Jevik!" Rorschach ducked as the Skiff hovered above him, it's arc cannons booming as they struck the Ogre, eventually turning it into ashes and dust.
Rorschach stood up, breathing hard into his mask, "Thanks Jevik." He then ran back inside the cave, remembering about Eeslanith.
Everyone was crowded around the Vandal as Rorschach came close. He got to his teammate's broken body and looked on in sadness. Eeslanith was already dead, Ventryx holding him in her arms. No...we were too late. Rorschach looked down as Ventryx carried the body out of the cave, everyone following behind her.
Taliks then came up to Rorschach, "there was nothing we could've done Rorschach," she clicked lowly, "he was dead before we got to him."
Rorschach nodded solemnly, "I know Taliks, but I had hoped...I wish I could've done something." She nodded, but kept quiet. His mind drifted to when they were in Wales, when Belox died, and he was helpless. It had been nearly a week since that night, nearly a week of training and preparing for the field. And for what, another dead soldier?
Rorschach looked up as they were outside, Jevik waiting for them aboard the Skiff. Soon they were teleported into the ship and flying to their Ketch, where they would send off another fallen friend.
Once they had reached the Ketch and gotten off the Skiff, everyone went to the airlock. There, a Servitor was waiting for them, and they had it take whatever Ether was left in Eeslanith. Once the Servitor was done and gone, they wrapped Eeslanith in his House Banners, had a quick ceremony, and sent his body into the void of space.
"Now he lives in eternity amongst the stars." Greevis clicked
Ventryx kept silent the entire time, and stormed out of the airlock. She was stopped abruptly though when a crackled voice echoed throughout the Ketch, "Baroness Ventryx and her remaining subordinates or to report to the Pilot's Bridge immediately."
"Great now what," she growled. She angrily led her crew to the Pilot's Bridge.
When they arrived there, they found a battered Vandal waiting for them.
"You are Ventryx?" he hissed. The Baroness nodded. "Good, because you're begin sent to Venus."
"Venus!?" She snarled, her four eyes narrowing. She lunged at the Vandal, wrapping her claws around his neck as she held him in the air, "Why?"
The Vandal just made a clicking sound reminiscent of a chuckle, "Because, Baroness, we're losing the war. Hehe, Kell's orders, not mine."
She growled in anger, her mandibles twitching. Throwing the Vandal to the floor, she glanced at a Pilot Servitor who was looking back at her curiously, “Pilot the ship!” she roared at it. It simply turned and resumed it’s duties as she stormed out of the room, heading back to the hangar, her crew following behind her nervously.
Rorschach looked at her nervously and whispered to Taliks, “What did he mean we’re losing the war? Did he mean the one against Winter?”
Taliks shrugged, but Randor chimed in, “Yes, that one, Dreg. The one that will end us.”
