Edit: For everybody that wants to watch the documentary, it is called Sirius on Netflix!
I had this recently brought to my attention thanks to a documentary on Netflix, and after some digging it is being suggested, with small amounts of evidence, that HUMANS can affect RNG outcomes with nothing but the power of their mind.
The testing came about like this. They created a small computer than just had a 50/50 chance of creating a 1 or a 0. A person could think which one they wanted in their mind and it would influence the number the rng system created. So if you think Gjallarhorn over and over again, you increase your chance of getting it. And since potentially, distance poses NO discernable affect, if you are like me, think No Land Beyond as often as possible (I'm actually in the process of putting in my 2 weeks at my job so I can dedicate more time to this) to ensure that you all don't get Gjallarhorns.
Now there are only two possible outcomes. This is fact, and rng is affected by mind power, or it is bullshit, and it is not affected by mind power. Now before you go into the comments to argue, flame, and troll, I suggest you think super hard about which outcome you like the most, and maybe you'll actually be right. Or you'll need a a bigger sheet of Reynolds's Wrap.
Happy Gjallarhorn Hunting!

It's exactly how I got mine. I gave up all hope.

Pray to the great Bungie Ball in the tower and he will think about it.
-
The fact you are quitting your job to test RNG tells me that you have much more serious problems then not getting Gjallarhorn.

If this was true I would have at least one Ice Breaker. Instead I have 4 Plan C's, 3 Mythoclasts, 3 Hawkmoons, and dozens of other repeats.

I don't think 'gjallahorn' is a weapon

... Or you can just play and eventually get one.

Problem is that test (i haven't seen it) it limted to a yes or no. Such little choice means that it could easily give the one you're thinking off. If you had. Yes No Maybe Someday Never Always And 100's of more, only then could you test it.

When the dark below came out it was the first week of the omnigul strike so I went on lfg (all my friends are never on) and found a kind group and when we got to the end, the rewards did not pop up on the left side for me and I joking said that I bet all of us got gally horns and when the activity reward screen came up I got so happy to see that I actually did get my first gally horn while they just got a no land beyond (lol) and the other got strange coins.
