No, he's wrong. It's from Norse Mythology. And it's not pronounced that way.

No, because everyone agrees with me on forums?

No, he is right. Old Norse predates Icelandic. The historically correct pronunciation of the word from the Prose Edda in the 13th century is yaw-lar-horn and you kind of swallow the n at the end.

I think I'll trust a guy not a robot thanks lol

Edited by LegendarySyn: 7/3/2015 2:52:41 PMThat isn't a robot. That's an actual person saying it. The guy is just some kid from Iceland who doesn't know how to pronounce it in Old Norse. Like how you speak English but would be unable to speak Old English. He doesn't even pronounce it the way other Icelandic people do. It's like taking the word of someone from Massachusetts about how to pronounce chowder.

Eh maybe I'm wrong, I'm not a genius lol, doesn't really matter anyway its just a word lol

Edited by LegendarySyn: 7/3/2015 3:22:29 PMIt mattered enough for you to post several times correcting people before you found out you were wrong, lol. You and ScrimpyPotato93, lol.

I only posted once stating how I said it, then I told one guy, I haven't been spamming like this other dude

He posted it like 20 times! Now they all say potato. At least you left the 3 or 4 you did.
He missed one, lol. I hope he doesn't find it.
Haha, If people read mine they can comment I really couldn't care less, I'll just tell them it doesn't matter, I do like the idea of gatlahorn though, sounds... Different lol
