New players think that their second class is "more advanced" or "I have my new class and you don't." This I feel is wrong. Hunters simply have to find what their play style is. I personally use a little of both. I use a lot of bladedancer in PVE because of cloaking and when I am being mobbed by melee enemies, I use arc blade. I recently use it a lot more in PvP. Still, gunslinger is my go-to PvP subclass. The long range stopping power of golden gun with the throwing knife makes it a Call of Duty class
check out some of my forums
I'd say the Hunter Subclasses take more time to get used to, especially the throwing knives. You've no ideas how many throwing knives I've stuck into a wall while trying to melee enemies
