Auto rifles the new pulse rifle?

Before all of the weapon nerfs to auto rifles and buffs to pulse/scout rifles, auto rifles where undoubtedly over powered. Allong side of this, pulse rifles shot peas. However, now it is a different story. Let us look at one of the most popular Auto Rifles, SUROS Regime, and one of the most popular pulse rifles, Red Death. In this I will mainly be looking at pvp however it does apply to PVE also. As the Base stats of SUROS and Red Death have similar impact, this should mean that even without focused fire SUROS should do similar head shot dammage to red deaths head shot dammage of 33, right? Well this is not the case. By looking at the impact suros should do without focused fire you can infer that with focused fire SUROS should do around 42-47 dammage per head shot, not the meager 31 head shot dammage it acceives with focused active. If you compare the impact of read death and that of suros, this 31 head shot dammage is what should be expected of SUROS without focused fire, not with it. To partner this abysmal impact, the fire rate is shocking. By the time you have got 1 kill with suros you could have killed 2 Guardians with red death and most probably be onto your 3 guardian. And unfortunately this is the same with almost all Auto Rifles in the game. They simply are not a viable choice for a gun anymore. Now don't get me wrong, I don't want pulse rifles to be nerfed as they are performing at the level which they should be at. But ALL auto rifles should be buffed, especially Suros and the other Exotics, so that they and hold their own in the crucible and not just shoot peas but instead shoot lead for a change. Please comment your opinions and if you agree or not.
