It's too easy to get if you have the HoW dlc. I get 15 per week and have 30 sitting in my vault after upgrading everything. 200 per would be way too much.

15 per week? You're full of shit.

5 per character 2 from PoE 3 from ToO 2 of the trials come in the win packages and the third comes from the lighthouse. Maybe look up info before commenting.

I think 200 per is the only way this is feasible. To players having a hard time getting enough, Etheric Light is probably more valuable than vanguard/crucible gear. 200 per Etheric Light also makes it so players aren't pulled away from HoW content. I agree that 200 marks is expensive, but I think that is the only way the idea works in both the short term and long term. But thanks for disagreeing and not being an asshole about it.

Maybe put the price at 175 like the sparrows. It isn't much but the 25 per week will add quite a bit for players who don't have HoW. Honestly though, unless they keep ether if light as the main upgrading tool it will be obsolete in just a few months. I don't want to bring down the post because it's a good idea, but it will be irrelevant once TTK comes out :/

Edited by BoomerSooner51: 7/1/2015 3:52:55 PM175, maybe. But I for sure think Etheric Light is valuable than a sparrow. Even if TTK makes our year one weapons obsolete, I still think it's worth upgrading certain gear, like raid gear, to max levels. At least then my Vision of Confluence won't be quite as underpowered in TTK. I'm still hoping we can upgrade gear in the next DLC. It seems silly to introduce this feature just to remove it in the next DLC.

It says year one but they may have it be for the entirety of TTK. It would seem silly to introduce it just to have no use for it later on. Like I said I upgraded everything and really like that they added it. VoC is amazing at 365 btw.

I think it's stupid that HoW gear is still at the old levels and need Etheric Light to upgrade. The older gear, well, I see the reasoning for Etheric Light there. The new gear should have been at the 365 levels. If they remove the feature to upgrade Year 1 gear, why would anybody run the old raids? Or run PoE or ToO? This will be obsolete gear. Surely they can't actually be considering this.
