Are gunslingers going extinct in PvP?
The title says it all. "Are gunslingers going extinct in PvP?"
The amount of time I put into PvP I rarely run into any gunslingers. Not saying we don't exist just that there are less and less of us In PvP anymore.

Depends on the trials map, I usually use gunslinger but for the last 2 or 3 maps, bladedancer has been the better choice.

I wish they weren't, but people are using bladedancers so they can get their blink shotgunning

3 RepliesNot if the number of times I got shut down in IB by them last night is anything to go by... Seriously, I prefer Bladedancer for the most part, I'll probably run Gunslinger to get the 10 kills without dying and switch back - range definitely counts in the Blink/Shotty era

I have been almost strictly gunslinger hunter but, lately I have really been enjoying Sunsinger Warlock. I do NOT use Fireborn in normal in Crucible, just love the melee and those firebolt grenades! haha

Gunslingers are not going extinct anytime soon in pvp. Especially in trials.

Nope, I run GG all the time and I see a lot of Gunslingers in pvp. I even run it for trials. But there is definitely a lot of blink shot-gunning going around.

I used to run GG but the swap weapons thing on BD made me switch. Works great with plan c.

2 RepliesI honestly find that gunslinger is better than bladedancer in PVP, the only reason I bladedance is because the style suits me better. I prefer agility over stability.

Nope. I am throwing fiery knives of death into people's faces and Tbagging them most nights.

1 ReplyNo way. After having my blade dancer mysteriously one shot by melee and or HCs (even though I can rocket a BD in the face and they survive) I have switched to Gun Slinger. The only thing I'll miss on my hunter is blink as the Khepri's Sting will give me invisibility if I need it. The Blade Dance is just too easily countered both legitimately and illegitimately.

No all I use is gunslinger in crucible but my hunter isn't my main

Its cuz of blink. Voidwalkers as well are increasing due to peoples knowledge of blink

Never been a fan of bladedancer always played gunslinger fully levelled the BD skill tree subclass has it's uses but prefer gunslinger

golden gun 1shot kill on blade dancer so nope

3 RepliesThe only thing Bladedancers have on Gunslingers is blink and a better grenade. Golden Gun is still the best PvP super in the game.
