Are gunslingers going extinct in PvP?
The title says it all. "Are gunslingers going extinct in PvP?"
The amount of time I put into PvP I rarely run into any gunslingers. Not saying we don't exist just that there are less and less of us In PvP anymore.

Nope. Almost exclusively run GG when I'm on my hunter in crucible

I'm not the best PvP player, but I used to run gunslinger exclusively until trials made me switch because I started using blink defensively during a grenade spam or when I'm burning from thorn.

It's mainly blink and the superb quick draw that draws me to blade dancer, I would use GG if I could at least get the quick draw perk. I love the fast twitch quickness of everything in BD but GG super is by the best.

I do tend to see more Bladedancers than Gunslingers but I do see a lot of Tripmine/Swarm Grenades covering the maps

3 RepliesEdited by boff: 7/1/2015 6:59:20 PMBefore I could evade a shotgun users with a simple jump from my gs Hunter but when the range on these guns got to much a little jump was no longer a viable way to evade these scrotum licking vermin....blink on the other hand works well....and the titan jump also works very well with catapult. The arc blade grenades are also better imo although I had much fun with tripmines, but unlike flux grenades they are not magnetic which both the titan and Warlock get. I enjoyed playing gunslinger for a while but they don't quite cut it anymore

Too easy to evade it unless you're in front of their team. Jump jump blows as well

I guess there's more incentive to use Bladedancer, with better perks like quickdraw, blink, backstab, etc. Gunslinger is still good though!

It's because everyone runs away now when they hear a gg go off.

Depends on the trials map, I usually use gunslinger but for the last 2 or 3 maps, bladedancer has been the better choice.
