Are gunslingers going extinct in PvP?
The title says it all. "Are gunslingers going extinct in PvP?"
The amount of time I put into PvP I rarely run into any gunslingers. Not saying we don't exist just that there are less and less of us In PvP anymore.

Quickdraw and arc bolt grenades are probably the biggest reasons why I play bladedancer now. Other than that I love the gunslinger class. Throwing knifes are fun af.

Nope. Just working on the Thorn bounty. Using arc blade as panic button if I get cornered while trying to shotgun people.

I don't play bladedancer at all. Crucible has made me absolutely despise the class

1 ReplyI only ever use bladedancer for screwing around in patrol. I'm always running gunslinger for PvP and any serious PvE activities. Everybody loves Cowboys!

I prefer Gunslinger in most situations in crucible as opposed to Bladedancer. The triple jump is nice, Symbiote/Nighthawk are great, and that trip mine is ridiculous. I love countering Bladedancers with a quick GG bullet.

2 RepliesI've seen em in the trials, being able to clear a whole round solo like that can be very fetching. However in playlists like control and even clash I see more blade dancers because of the sheer possibility of more kills and greater mobility.

I get killed by them constantly, granted it may just be the same one... Also I'll be trying my hand at slingin soon. Just getting into pvp and really enjoying it.

The only reason blade dancers are preferred is blink. The gunslinger super is the most versatile in the game imo. I just started using gs and I love it.

Hellllll no. Especially not in Trials. That 4 shot golden gun is crucial for a warlock that uses self-Rez after you've killed all 3 with it already. It just takes a little more effort than spamming slash with bladedancer.

1 ReplyI run gunslinger love the trip mine and knife and golden gun gives me some distance to not get killed. Used to run bladedancer but got killed more often as it ran out at the worst possible times. Stuck a guy last night with a trip mine to earn a shiny medal

When I rock my hunter I [b]never[/b] use bladedancer. Been a gunslinger since beta.

1 ReplyI was strictly gunslinger for the longest time, Hunter being my main. Around the end of tdb i started to favor bladedancer more because of nightfalls and whatnot, and its my pvp go to as well now. I don't even use blink I can't stand it. Used to love it but it's overrated imo. I seriously want bones boots so i can triple jump on my bladedancer now :( It's not for the super either, I'll frequently leave it full max i use it is once a match. Golden gun is just a better super if you ask me, bladedancer kinda blows if you don't use blink. Everyone says how easy it is to use but without blink you're really easy to take down. The teleport makes you impossible to hit while covering that ground and people panic when they see a blinking blue hunter teleporting at them. Just doesn't fit my playstyle i guess

I run gunslinger probably 80% of the time. I love it, it's saved the day many times in trials. Being able to take out the entire enemy team in seconds, at range, with 4 shots is invaluable. Their grenades are meh, the throwing knife is next to worthless unless you have REALLY good aim. I still prefer it over bladedancer any day though.

2 RepliesGunslinger forever. Thought I would like bladedancer more at the beginning of the game, but it turned out that gunslinger was my way to go. I barely touch bladedancer now, even in pve.

2 RepliesBeen Gunslinger since the Beta. I kick WAY more ass with it then ballerina of knives. Much more options to get multiple kills
