When does Crucible become fun?
I've gotten a lot less angry with Crucible after I've accepted that there is no victory in it, only defeat, and that I'm not good at it, but it still hasn't become fun for me.
I can see that the meta is Hand Cannons and Shotguns on Hunters and Warlocks, but otherwise it just seems like throwing myself into the game as cannon fodder for others without an ounce of enjoyment.
So, when do other people start having fun in the Crucible? Is it a specific mode? I admit I'm a solo player and don't have groups to play with, so maybe that's it?

3 RepliesUse odd weapons like hardlight, suros, praedyths timepiece, the bow, to add variety to your game. Try the mida as well, rumble only though for me. Rumble is the most fun. It's satisfying to see yourself use underpowered guns and do well if you have the skill.

I felt the same way going into the crucible I sacked terribly so I just stuck to strikes n missions... but once u get good weapons and armor with the right perks it becomes really fun and alot easier. Now I know it seems like the action is really high paced but it's not just take ur time to aim and try not to panic when an opponent comes at u sprinting keep calm n aim. You'll get the hang of it

I accepted the fact that crucible has no victory in it and utterly give up winning. So now I use underappreciated exotics and troll my friends with invisibility. It's fun having a friend or two around. Having challenges with your friends is pretty fun too. I usually play rumble since I can kill them with no remorse.

Fell in love with crucible recently playing as a hunter going ham with my red hand, longbow sniper, and some rocket launcher Sniping is super fun, try it!

I found pvp to be fun when i am actively looking to improve. Watching the pros taking notes on hiw to strafe and play styles. Eg. High defense push. Or offencive ground/area control play.
