I'm kinda intrigued to see why people are still playing cos myself I have nothing left to do but still enjoy helping out friends etc and having a laugh playing and enjoy playing the game, and know alot of people have stopped playing so much recently.
So what reasons are people still playing for?
Plus I still have have grimoire to get.
What things are people trying to get out of the game still? That's what I'm asking
If anyone willing to help me get to the lighthouse at the weekend on ps4 would be greatly appreciated I'm ok at pvp just not amazing.
What are people looking forward to with the taken king?
For max level would people like the original grind back?
Whats keeping people going till September?

Because I actually enjoy the game.

PvP. Just to keep my skills fresh for what PvP endgame content TTK (hopefully) has. The PvE is easy and always will be. Someone will make a formula to take down Oryx and we'll all follow that.
-
It's fun for me. It's the first FPS that I can actually manage decent aim and movement in. I'm nothing compared to most of the players on here, tho, I'll be honest there.

Fun clan.. We do full rumble matches with 6 of us using NLB's.
-
I like bananas

My friends finally started playing so I'm helping them out

I play because my friends play, and even bigger, there's really nothing else on Xbox one to play. Mortal Kombat is fun, but it's not really the kind of game I sink big chunks of time into. But playing as Jason voorhees is pretty damn cool. Grand theft auto, witcher, and elder scrolls all failed to steal any time away from destiny for me and are all back at gamestop. Gta, being the only decent one of that bunch. Eso and witcher were sent back after a few hours of playtime. Not exactly how either of those games received outstanding reviews. I might try out the new batman game. Enjoyed the previous two. Forza 6 and the division are two other games that could possibly take away from my destiny time, but those are still a ways off.

nothing better to do till november so why not.

I haven't played in close to two weeks...the DLC pricing and Redbull none sense left a bad taste in my mouth...IB is weak on rewards this time as well soooooooo

Oh you're on PS4. I would try to help you through trials but I'm on Xbox One. :(
-
1. Still trying to get to 34 on my characters 2. I want to go 9-0 3. Friends make it fun 4. Need a gjally 5. I enjoy raids 6. This game is fun!
-
I've been doing a lot of trials, just since I'm not half bad and can actually avoid raging, and have been using all of the elder cipher bounty weapons. Lord of Wolves ftw
-
Daily bounty reps in hopes of collecting all faction shaders and ship
-
I still really enjoy the game, except for crucible. I'm liking that less and less
-
It's a very fun game to play with your friends
especially when you're wasted
I don't anymore.

I am finding myself sitting down logged into destiny on my xbox while scrolling througb facebook and these forums more and more. I dont need any weapons or etheric light as i have 30+. My characters have what i would call the best gear set ups for pve and pvp and also my weapons. Normally I would be excited after reset as I was able to redo everything over again. Now I drag myself just to do the nightfall for the experience and reputation bonus. Raids and PoE, I dont bother with now, I have armor cores and weapon cores saved from previous weeks incase a good roll on an armour comes up. The only thing I really look forward to is Trials as that is competitive, and the communication and stratigy involved gets my brain working. I do not need any loot from the light house, I just like the challenge of new maps.

Trying to get gjallarhorn BUT IT NEVER -blam!-ING DROPS!
-
To feel like an epic space cowboy super hero. And I succeed every time.
-
Because it's entertaining to me. I occasionally take breaks from the game so it doesn't feel stale. Knocking out some ESO atm but I'm intending on bouncing back in a day or two.
-
The game is a great source for writing fan fiction / roll playing(which is really fun and actually quite healthy) also killing things is really fun... Especially in such a pretty world.

Edited by generic_name_415: 6/30/2015 3:39:23 PMI have fun doing some things solo and I also like playing with my friends. sometimes we are competitive (crucible), sometimes we just fuçk around oh, and I'm still after a goddamn crux after all this time
-
Honestly I just haven't found a game I've enjoyed better yet. I'm burnt out on COD and BF. Halo MCC sucks. Not really into ESO. I will be buying Fallout later this year though but there just isn't anything else out for X1 I enjoy more currently.

1.) I'm addicted to the gambling simulation (always thinking the next loot drop will be 'x') 2.) Loot (see above) 3.) I'm addicted
