Anyone thinking of getting the Wolve's Leash, do it, it's actually a very reliable scout rifle, and add to that the Captain burn makes it even better.

Got it from a random chance. Rate of fire is auto rifle level.

Yep, if use this over a 365 Fatebringer or even a Fang of Ir Yut you're delusional and lying to yourself. Even with the elemental burns the POE arsenal is mediocre but without the burns they're barely paper weight.

Captains burn is a burn, and it's not bad actually, a weapon doesn't need an element burn to be good.

It does for the high level PvE stuff. And the Captain burn, is 'chance' of suppressing a Captain's abilities. Wonderful. Got my Scout with arc, and I still don't use it on Fallen. Fang of Ir Yut is much better.

Look man, there's really no need to argue about it ok, it's probably the best weapon Variks has sold so far, besides the shot gun, you don't need to rely on RNG to get it either, FoIy is better of course, but for people who don't have it, it's a good alternative.

Just countering your comment that anyone thinking about it should get it and that the Captain 'perk' makes it better, when it really doesn't. All just opinions :)

Edited by leigull: 6/30/2015 10:01:49 AMBecause it's a 'chance' so be no means guaranteed, to suppress a captain's abilities. It's pretty pointless (as are all the PoE weapon perks). All the PoE weapons are a big let down. Outclassed by the Trials weapons, which are much harder to get (the elemental primaries anyway). The fact most people are still using VOG/Crota weapons instead of any PoE ones says it all.

VoG and CE weapons are a chance also, the only reason people still use then is because the elemental burn, Bungie made a mistake by putting all the new elemental weapons in ToO, and keeping the PoE ones RNG, and because of that is why the scout rifle is a good choice, VoG or CE weapons don't have fallen burn, this does, and its easier to get, so for people who don't run ToO or the raids, it's the best option right now.
