After about a thousand hours logged on the Xbox One with 3 fully leveled characters and countless Raids, Nightfalls, Crucible matches, and strikes, I'm extremely happy to say that I now own a Gjallarhorn. I've defeated Atheon, slain Crota, murdered Skolas, and lay waste to numerous majors and ultras in strikes, as well as fellow Guardians in The Crucible. I've participated in pushing the Templar off of his platform. I've repeatedly looted Fallen treasure chests for Ether Keys. I was there to experience the original and apparently only Queen's Wrath event and I was there to see all but the Gjallarhorn sold by Xûr, being a week two player. I didn't think the moment would arrive as soon as this and sometimes I doubted that the moment would come to at all. But today I'm extremely happy to say that, through the purging of Atheon from the Vault of Glass on Hard mode in an unexpected and lengthy raid due to a certain pair repeatedly failing the jumping "puzzle", I received a Gjallarhorn. For those that search for their own Gjallarhorn as well as their figurative Gjallarhorn in the respect of the one thing desired so difficult to obtain: "Keep the Hunt going". Happy Monday Guardians.
