I haven't been able to get on since the 3mb patch the week of 6/7/2015. I get an untitled error box saying the game content cannot be read ; the option that is normally " OK " to green A select instead says " Quit " . Selecting that , or choosing red B for back , crashes the game back to console ... Or ... Gives me a second popup , being the " Game Error " titled box saying that the disc is unreadable. The disc is NOT unreadable. I installed AND played the game with that disc on two other 360s , and it is fine. Yes. I sat through the hours of compatibility errors. Twice. One of the 360s is not here , but at a friends home , on a completely different ISP , in another county over 30 minutes away. When I saw this patch , I was hopeful. It seemed as though it was going to work ... But ... No such luck. I felt SO close to seeing the character selection screen that time ... /me sighs Fwiw , the game disc and my account still works on other Xboxes... My Xbox 360 is the SW limited edition slim and the other's are: [spoiler][/spoiler] a Fat 360 Pro ( Jasper ) which I gave to a fellow disabled friend , who can still play. The other test box is an original Fat 360 ( no HDMI or Optical ) from good old '05 taken from storage , wiped and loaded all new before testing. On my primary ( SWLE ) Slim , I'm running pre release dashboard 2.0.17349.0 , but using the internal HDD and no external ones , so please test on one of those you guys & gals have there please :)). Thanks! Oh , and I have done every possible method of troubleshooting , multiple times , so all that can be skipped. Thanks !!! :)) I have spent over $150 for Destiny and associated products ... $300 if you count the new Dolby Digital headset I bought so I could hear the game in all it's glory. I know nobody cares , but I'm disabled and as pathetic as it may sound , this game has been a life changer in terms of my social life. I've even met people IRL who play near me. The aforementioned console I gave to my similarly housebound friend was in large part so she could play with me and my friends. At least she can. I never even got to finish the story missions for the queen. I am posting this again per Xbox support.
