What's a key mind again?
-
Edited by CoherentBadger: 6/30/2015 2:58:12 PMThey are the most terrifying enemy in Halo. They have been known to bend reality, and use both Star roads and other precursor technology. Their intelligence level can he as high as the most advanced AI the Forerunners had. One Keymind can lead billions if nit trillions of troops. Once they form they are nearly impossible to stop. They are similar to a Gravemind, but much more powerful. All Keyminds start off as Graveminds.

What is a Star Road?
-
They were/are artifacts created by the Precursors. Star Roads were built using neural physics which allowed them to change mass at will (they can be kilometers thick). They could link planets and star systems together. They were also used as a weapon by a Key Mind, I'm not exactly sure how though. Supposedly they can mess up slip space travel and wrap reality. Most, maybe all were destroyed with the firing of the Halo.

Do you think it's possible some Star Roads survived the Halo firing? Maybe some outside the galaxy? Precursors were pretty talented so maybe they did traveled to other galaxies?
-
If they built them in other galaxies they definitely would have survived, and they were able to travel to other galaxies. As for the Milky Way its unlikey.

The entire biosphere of a planet must be consumed by the Flood.
-
They seem so OP
-
That'd be because they are. And that's just the furthest we've seen the Flood evolve, who knows what a step above a Keymind would be like...
-
Probably an entire system would have to get together to form something above that...
-
Think on the words of Forthencho at the end of Silentium. The Great Gravemind consumed 10,000 worlds and brought entire galaxies to end. Even in the Forerunner Saga, what we witnessed was just a glimpse at the Flood's ultimate malice, and that is just plain terrifying.

The Precursors can. Then again the flood is their creation soooo
