What are the reasons you are married? Or will get married? Or are planning on getting married? And how does being married changes your relationship with your Spouse in a way not being married to him/her could not? Hope the question makes sense... :P
Edit: Does your marriage last "until death do [you] part"? (Question directed to those already married I guess... :/)

Because I forgot to pull out

I love my girlfriend and we want to get married one day. It's been 14 months and I already wanna go buy a ring. We both believe that when you get married, it's forever, even after death it continues. I love her more than anything and I want to spend eternity with her.
-
Because I'd rather share my life with someone I love than be alone.
-
Because my wife told me too
-
Because my parents showed me that marriage is an amazing experience to go through with the love of your life, even after death. I would gladly partake in that beautiful journey. :)

In the eyes of the law being married or common law is basically the same thing. I got married because I know my wife wanted that ceramony and as we all learn when you think you have the one you give her whatever the hell she wants.
-
Because I want to find that person to spend the rest of my life with. I want to go in front of my friends and family and make a promise to the woman I love most. I want to be able to call my girl my wife. I want to share each day with her, and all the ups and downs. I want to wake up next to her beautiful face everyday, and it reminds me why I do what I do. I want to confide in her and her confide in me. Both of us letting area guard down and letting the other in fully.

I'm not.

Its such a risky venture. Now a days, people in general have a zero tolerance for error. Its like people are to busy looking out for their own needs instead of supporting and encouraging their husband or wife no matter what.
-
I don't want to get married. I don't need a piece of paper that says I love somebody.
-
Love, taxes, so we can share my sweet health insurance, I will live longer, legal parts like seeing me at the hospital or speaking for me if I can't
-
Marriage brings commitment that other relationships just don't bring. You have to work hard to keep a marriage. It's not fluffy "I love you"s until you get tired and date someone else.
-
I dunno, I like the thought of saying to someone "I want you and no other".
-
Bc marriage is a commitment, commitment=a larger form of love than no commitment
-
Jesus raeped me and now we have to get married because I'm pregnant. If we don't, God will frown at me until I explode.
-
Is that an amulet of Mara?
-
Nobody loves me enough to even date me
-
We love each other and want to spend our lives together.
-
She's my partner in crime and extra money. We've basically been married just without the paperwork. So might as well do the paperwork
-
My hope? To share my life with the one I love, and to take her burdens upon myself. What will probably happen? It won't.
-
>implying I'll ever be getting married ;-;
-
I'm not
-
I'm getting married when I feel I want to take a new step in life with my significant other. I just hope Zolty sees this so he stops getting impatient with me.
-
Already married
