Never played Terraria, what do they even do?

They do these flips towards you and if they hit you they do about five hearts of damage. They flip around everywhere.

Those things suck so much. I started hard mode, ran into the underground ice biome, and I got 2 shot by them.

Yeah you are. Those things will kill you instantly.
