Let's face it dude. You don't play this game. You need to go find something else to do. I had 3 lvl 34s in the first week. 2 in the first day. I've gotten 1 etheric light from a nightfall ever I have every item in my inventory upgraded and still have surplus etheric light. You just don't play the game. Go play Mario cart, go do something else. You apparently can't play destiny so just quit.
