dude you don't want to be worrying about etheric light until you get one of your toons to 34. EL is the endgame content for HOW and you aren't there yet. Have patience! Get your toon to at least 33 first by doing L32 PoE and winning armour cores. Buy the gear from Variks each week and consider xurning an exotic with a high minimum light level. You can do POE 34 as a 33 if you have two good team mates with you and you stay out of trouble. Don't rely on DestinyLFG for these good team mates though... if you don't communicate about who is doing what you won't get through.
