I just recently started finding myself in the same exact position. I understand why they want you to find people and make it more social, but it really just adds an extra annoying step that removes you from the game for a bit as you try to find people.
I tried the lvl 32 once and was blown away by how much tougher it was! In 28, it's chaotic and fun. In 32, I constantly died after 2-3 hits. I ended up having to leave the game quickly for other reasons, but I don't think I missed much. It was basically spawn, get hit 2-3 times and die, respawn, get hit 2-3 times and die, etc.
I've gotten pretty good at PvE, but that just seemed impossible. Given the lack of patience of most of the community, I don't see warm up or practice games being practical either.
I've been loving this game up until now. I haven't done much PvP yet, but I think I'll start on that... or just give it a rest until the next DLC.
Edit: I'm very aware you can find people here or on that other site, but I'm really not interested. If I'm playing the game, I want to play the damn game, not spend my time tracking down strangers online.

How can ''becoming pretty good at PvE'' and ''32 is so hard'' can be in the same comment. There is something wrong. If you are 32 or above (which you should be by now) 32 POE is a walk in the park. Stupid mobs spawing from the exact same place at the exact same time. You can easily SOLO 32 POE if you are 34. Just play smart. Same goes for 34, it can be soloed with a little bit of smart play. I would say that you probably become less bad in PvE compared to your first hours of play than become pretty good. If you struggle in 32 and die consistently, you have a lot of work to do on your PvE skill.

Edited by TrulyDontCare: 6/30/2015 3:54:14 PMI explained that later. I approached it the same way I did 28 and got wrecked. That doesn't mean I suck, I just need to change the way I go about it next time. I was only in there for about 1-2 minutes and got surprised.

They should just stop being a $$ es and light up at match making all together, or put an in game LFG, like all the other MMO'S do. Pain in the ass to use LFG (half the time they bail cause the overbooked themselves) or have to search forums.

It would not surprise me if Bungie's internal reports showed them gamers have less interest in this difficult and frustrating zombie mess than they did with Raids. I took an alternate route and put my time into PvP. I am happy with that decision and the rewards.

Yea for real. I'd rather just have matchmaking. It's a thousand times easier. And I think they should just put Etheric Light in the chest at the end of ALL the Arena levels. And maybe trade 5 Motes of Light for an Etheric Light at the Speaker. lol. :P

It takes me about 2-3 minutes to setup a group on destinyteamfinder.com and do a 32/34 3x. Just play it safe, don't be ballsy as I put it, and it's pretty easy.

Edited by TrulyDontCare: 6/28/2015 8:52:18 PMI think was my mistake. In 28, I can run around just go apeshit on everything, as long as I'm smart about it. In 32 it seems you have to stand back and pace yourself. It's just a different type of gameplay, I think.

It really depends though. You might not be able to go apeshit like crazy but you can still be pretty daring even in 32. But as you have put it yourself, you have to be smart about it. 32 should not pose too much of a challenge if you are 32 or higher yourself and have appropriate weapons. Be aware of the skulls though. Abuse them. If you have brawler and you're a blade dancer, get that arcblade out and wreck'em hahaha

That's what I like about the content, it makes you change your pace and way of attack on the enemy. Very good for shotguns too :D
