Hello Guardians,
A healthy portion of us grind the endgame to oblivion and back, myself included. With the release of House of Wolves, we are met with the exhilarating and dynamic experience that is Prison of Elders. However, one problem constantly bubbles to the surface: the very slow reputation gain for House of Judgement.
For a standard level 28 Arena, the first four rounds each give you 10 reputation points. Additionally, the boss round gives 25 reputation points. This adds up to 65 reputation per run. With most factions, this would be okay considering literally every single reputation source (besides the Cryptarch) has some sort of bounty system that rapidly accelerates reputation gain on a daily basis (or in Queen's Guard's case, a weekly basis). But the only way to accelerate reputation gain is by completing the 3 weekly challenges; being the 32, 34 and 35 Arenas. I'm not positive on the reputation gains for the challenges, but I know it certainly doesn't feel like enough.

The URL above is a link to a screenshot I made of my House of Judgement Reputation, it reads ' Rank 1, 2497/3000'. Let's do a little math here; 3000 Reputation to Rank 2, and 65 per run. I'm also going to be generous and say that we're speed-running it at about 18 minutes per run. This roughly equates to about 47 runs or 14 hours and 6 minutes of constant speed-running, not including post-game or loading screens. Personally, this seems like a utterly brutal experience for anybody other than a hardcore gamer, and an unreasonably long grinding process just to get cosmetic class items, ships, and armor shaders.
I think the best way would be either to add Prison of Elders specific bounties to Variks or increasing the gains on Arena runs. If you agree, vote in the poll and pray that Bungie notices us. Godspeed, Guardians.
