I'm thinking you mistook my first post as hostile All I said was I don't think it should be on a low level activity, I'll admit to being somewhat blunt about it, but no insults, trash talk, or negative assertions where made. Simply that I disagree based on how the game has worked from the beginning. -- Now, for what I find are some feedback to your subject. I'd have give VoG and CE a new difficulty where there's some chance you get Etheric Light. Keeps the raids relevent, players coming back not only for the Light, but as well as getting some fine weapons and armor to SPEND said light on (as the weapons are better than the new stuff anyway). Maybe add it into the Exotic Drop list. Maybe even trading in a Crux of Crota for one ('cause those things are useless after you get your damn necrochasm). I mean it's not like people have stopped running them. Or make it so Nightfall has it's own sort of Reputation/Reward package system that you can earn Etheric Light more reliably from that activity through repeat play, weekly play. Or something to this effect. I do not disagree that it could be made a little more accessible, especially to non-expansion players, I however disagree about putting it in activities non-deserving of dropping an end-game reward.
