She grins as if hearing a good joke
That sounds oddly like bedroom talk...

Who knows? I doubt you'll find out. He shakes his head. I sound like Hecate now...
-
Wooooooooooooooow.......
-
Dante snaps himself out of it. At any rate, I'm impressed you've had time to gain skill in the use of her powers.
-
She grins Or impressed you still haven't done anything meaningful in this little duel? We're doing plenty of conversation though. Can't complain really, not like you get anything done....
-
With a dash faster than visible, he swipes across your forehead with a choked grip, trimming your bangs and cutting a layer of skin. As the swipe finishes, the sword flies out of his hand, and he grabs your throat with his right hand and jabs you in the stomach with his left. The jab feels strong, and the slice cut a superbly straight line. As he lets go, his apathetic grimace unchanged. I can pose all day, but my time is running thin. He removes the compass from his pocket. I appreciate the battle, I haven't seen action like that in a long time.
-
She gasps at the attack, only able to watch it unfold. She grabs you back, steadying herself using you, and pushes you backwards. The force is almost enough to make you stumble. She assumes another stance, as if ready for combat, she's still slightly shaky though, and seems to be having trouble breathing. I'm not.... Done yet here... You got your fancy sword and... Fast power thing.... But I'm not done...!
-
He stumbles back slightly. Fast power? You think that's what my gift entails? This is from reflex alone, a reflex you possess, albeit less honed. He gently tosses the device into the air before kicking you twice: once in the chest, and again in the collarbone. He catches the compass and regains a solid foothold. If I wanted this fight to end, I would've ended it, but I see no reason to cut short a session of this nature. He pauses. Permit me if I may: I wish to offer you something, unless this prideful power has poisoned an innocent mind.
-
The force of the blows knocks her to the side, a drop of blood drips from her nose and onto the grass. After a moment she gets back up, stubbornly, and faces you again. ...that the best you got?
-
Curling up his left hand, he pools the blood from the self-inflicted wound and throws it in your eyes. He follows through by spinning around clockwise, sweeping your legs in the motion. Your skills have gotten you this far, and I don't believe in wasting potential.

Edited by Kinda Red: 6/28/2015 6:37:35 PMShe falls down, the blood blinding her for a second as she wipes it off and stands again. She brushes herself off and then throws herself in your direction with an arm cocked back for a punch.
-
With a single long step, he ducks under your arm and stands again facing you. Note that this is a one time offer. Your services would be welcome amongst our ranks. The decision is entirely up to you, but I want the opinion of the true you... Not some meek host to an arrogant God.
-
She pauses for a second, then seems to start smiling. Then laughing... And she straightens up, putting her arms out as if to run it in your face: The hole in her torso gone, but the hole in the fabric of her clothes is visible. She wipes the blood off her upper lip, grinning broadly. The true me? And you want my skills? Well first, you have to know what my skills are before you stab me in the gut, then fail to stop me from healing it up. It did hurt, mind you, but you really need to keep the pressure on me next time. She paces around, as if thinking. And what exactly were you planning on telling Winston? That I had "fallen" on your sword accidentally?
-
Funny... He crouches down to pick up his sword which he tossed aside. I don't recall stabbing you, His stare is piercing. I do remember this form of trickery to be native to the style of your previous mentor.
-
To anyone looking I was actually being a dumbass, my bad.
With a dash faster than visible, he swipes across your forehead with a choked grip, trimming your bangs and cutting a layer of skin. As the swipe finishes, the sword flies out of his hand, and he grabs your throat with his right hand and jabs you in the stomach with his left.
I thought he stabbed me right there, "jabs you in the stomach" being the part I thought it was. Sooooooo that part wasn't actually part of the plan .-. My fault. Going on assuming all the stuff in between was trickery, my plan would have been so much better if he had actually stabbed me...
Well shit. Guess I got sloppy there. Could have sworn it was your sword...

All the more reason to take our generous offer. Do you wish to see your queen again?
-
Edited by Kinda Red: 6/28/2015 7:48:19 PMShe walks forward, the punches you right in the nose with a crack. Her knee slams into your waistline, and she backs up again. Even, since I took yours. Now what was the question?
-
Dante cups his hands over his face, blood oozing through his fingers. Fair enough... You admired miss Bellicose, correct? You'd want to see her again and extract revenge on her murderer?
-
You know the answer to that already I think. Good fight though, I must say. Could have done with more, you know, fighting.
-
I'm happy to hear, but the question remains: Do you pledge your loyalty to our true lady, Daughter of the King?
-
I haven't exactly met her yet have I?
-
Only the guard has.
-
Well, put yourself in my position okay? Someone completely new comes up, pretty much demands I give him something, mentions briefly the group he's with and the leader vaguely, then duel, then pledging my loyalty to said vague leader who I've never even heard of prior. What would you do exactly?
-
Seeing how the the others are nearly as powerful as myself, and your queen was your idol, I would take it.
-
Your biased opinion is very biased. You didn't even do it right you cheater. Geez... What were we talking about again? We're getting off topic again.
-
He looks at you with a sincere stare. Felix killed June. He has the strength of his allies, a strength we do not have anymore. He will slaughter us.
