A small group of ships peel off the main fleet and begin to orbit over various places in Russia, some orbit cities such as Moscow and Saint Petersburg, others over sites in the middle of no where, seemingly remote areas that would have no real value.

-
*explosions are heard in the background as I open up comms with the lead Ship.* "this is the admiral, where do you think you boys are going? We already have ships in Russia, if you wanna go home you'll have to wait till after we secure the planet!"
-
No answer is heard over comms but several of the ships break orbit and fire weapons that they hadn't had before hand. These new weapons decimate what little enemy resistance remained on the Asian and European continents. They return to orbit over their sites. Finally a few words are transmitted. We have our orders.
-
*anger fills the voice of The Admiral.* "and who the hell gave you these orders? Your ships are ordered to return to orbit and power down all weapon systems!"
-
They pull away from their respective zones and rejoin the fleet, firing on whatever enemies remained before warping to an uncharted system.
-
*unknown to them a George Ai infiltrated the ships systems and had them jump to the center of the 2 fleets which the admiral commands. The George AI disables the ships engines and weapon systems.* "alright now if you want to go anywhere you'll start talking."
-
The ships don't say anything, the only thing they transmit is that they must complete their mission as it of the utmost importance.
-
*after some consideration the admiral grudgingly agreed to let them go.* "alright, but I want my damn ships back and an explanation upon your return or else we will hunt you down and force one out of you."
-
The ships acknowledge this and jump to their previous destination. Later no record of those ships are found in any data base of catalog of the fleet. Indeed the ships seemed slightly advanced.
-
*the George Ai was ordered to go dormant and although these ships are advanced they are not able to locate the Ai in its dormant state and there for assume it was taken care of already by my people.*
-
George transmits quite a bit of information, these ships are apart of a much larger fleet. This fleet is stationed on the unknown planet. It seems to be a staging ground for something. Large numbers of troops are on the surface.
-
*George sends a location and a small drone jumps into the system to recon it.*
-
There are eight planets around twin stars. Three are gas giants, two are earthlike and the rest are hunks of metal and rock. There are orbital defense platforms around each of the planets and the fleet is congregated around the earthlike planets.
-
*the drone engages stealth mode and travels closer to the fleet and earth like planets.*
-
The ships all have a sleek quality to them, as well as similar design larger ones are just scaled up. The visual scans show a similar black with orange trim theme to all of the units. The planets are covered in cities, the buildings are sleek and have the same black and orange theme to them.
for reference look up superiority affinity in civ beyond earth.
-
*the drone sends a transmission to any channels it can.* "why did your race assist us?"
-
There is a brief pause before a man with some cybernetic enhancements appears on the view screen. "We were human once, we transcended our humanity and now reap the benefits of technology. We aided you because if we didn't then those traitors would. We wanted you to come here and see that we meant you no harm."
-
*i look at the man warily.* "right, well as soon as we can I may send some emissaries but as of now securing our planets is our highest priority, I'm sure you understand."
-
Edited by General Percival: 6/28/2015 3:06:20 PM"Of course" he says, nothing about the man comes off as untrustworthy. Behind him and on his collar you recognize the symbol of the Slavic Federation, a once mighty alliance of Eastern Europe and Central Asia led by Russia. They sent many colony ships to the stars, some of which were never heard from again. This appears to be one of them.
-
"Huh you're people wouldn't happen to he descended from the lost euro colonies would yall?"
-
Edited by General Percival: 6/30/2015 4:03:49 AM"Indeed we are, we lost contact with earth during the trip, we assumed the worst. Indeed had we not encountered you we would have assumed that humanity was extinct. We must warn you of our enemies however, the Harmonists as they call themselves altered themselves to adapt to their planets. They are not human and no matter how much they preach peace and harmony, if you don't fit into their plan, they will destroy you."
-
"Well a lot of other races have tried, we can hold our own in a fight even if we don't have advanced tech like yours."
-
"I hope for your sake and that of your race that you are right. While we are called supremacists, in actuality we wish to preserve the balance of power in the universe. Humanity will not perish under our watch."
-
"Interesting, well I appreciate the help you've given us and thank you and your people. If you'd like you can continue to speak with one of my emissaries, I have business that must be attended to."
-
"Farewell admiral, your emissary is welcome. If you need aid please do not hesitate to ask, and if you find the harmonists do not believe what they tell you."
-
"Roger that. I will send for aide if we need it."
