What Happens if I Buy The Taken King Collectors Edition (Physical) and I Already Have Destiny?
So I'm wanting to get the physical of "The Taken King" but I'm concerned about what it'll do to my saves.
Will it have to install Destiny again? Will I lose my saves?
Bungie reply, please?
£80 is a lot`of money to pay for a Collectors Edition that might possibly wipe out my entire progress!

So what I get is that all the expansions come in codes and the disc is a spare I can give away? Correct? :)

It won't wipe your save data. All of your info isn't saved to your ps that's why u can log on a friends console with your account and play as your characters

I've already decided to go with the physical, but if that would mean I have to reinstall all content it would be a bit lame. Your saves tho are fine, they are associated with your PSN account on bungies servers, not on the ps4.

It's tied to your psn or Xbox account. You might not need to even reinstall, idk. Everything is saved on Bungie's servers, that's how the app works, that's how progress will transfer to successive games.
