I went positive with an Auto Rifle
I was using the Vanquisher VIII (not sold anymore) and was surprised that I wrecked people with it.
Surprisingly it took people out pretty quickly and it was fun to use an auto rifle once again for a change.
I really hope autos are buffed soon so we start to see more of a variety of weapons used in the crucible.

Vanquisher is still a solid pvp AR because of its high impact. Very similar to suros.

The pulse rifles and handcannons are good right now, if auto rifles are buffed enough to join the competition we will finally have a balanced game on our hands

1 ReplyThe problem with autos right now isn't with the auto rifles, because they are well balanced with all of the other guns. The problem autos is that TLW and Thorn kill in about half the time which is huge. If those two guns get nerfed, most guns will be pretty balanced after that.

2 RepliesStill have my original 300 vanquisher. Used to be a beast! I rate it over the Suro and then you can use another exotic. Sadly haven't used it since ARs were nerfed. It's still a beast but can't compete with last word and thorn.

And you, along with plenty of other people replying in here, just proved that Bungie didn't nerf them into the ground. I use the pest control matrix in pve. It has its place among my other weapons. It's a terrific short/midranged weapon. They're not useless, like many people believe.

Played with an upgraded Suros the other day and got 17 kills with a positive K/D. It was kind of fun to change it up.
