Character Biography

This is an Elder scrolls based game so the available races will have more than enough diversity. And seeing as the function of the game is played out the races do not dictate the overall nature of a player, but will give subtle bonuses to development in their preferred fields Races [spoiler]Human - Breton: Natural human Spell weavers but weaker on the Physical side. Human - Imperial: Diplomats and trader these are the most well drawn together of the races. Being raised under the rule of common law and military they will crave order and law over Chaos. Human - NORDS: The Strongest of all human races, considered Barbarians to many these people have pledge to family and honor above all else. Do not cross these people, milk drinker, you may not live long after. Human - Redgaurd: a Hardy race of human hailing from the desert, these are the martial trained. All aspects of their life revolve around combat and its teaching. High Elf/Altmer : considering themselves the pinnacle of civilization this race is so finely tuned with magic, it is magic itself that defines them. Bosmer/WoodElf: Guardians of the wild, this race defends their lands with an undoubted grace. Be wary however destruction of their lands brings great ire. Orsimer/Orc: The... unnoticed cousin of the elves, cast from their home by the redgaurd they now reside in camps all over the world. Kinship is held at the pinnacle of everything. to cross one orc is to cross them all. Dunmer/DarkElf: Little is known of the dark skined red eyed race. Legends hold they worshiped the Deadra Argonian: The Reptilian Humanoids that thrive in the thick swamps of the deep unknown south. their ancestory makes them natural good swimmers and resistant to disease. Khajit: The feline people. outsiders and exotic dealers. they know who stole your sweetrole. and where they hid the skooma [/spoiler]

[b]Backstory[/b]: The man was born an orphan, his parents both died hours after his birth leaving him to be taken care of by a man - who was secretly a Dark Brotherhood member. He was trained in a plethora of skills and talents, but one day when he got home his father was dead. He was so in shock he didn't know what to do, he just packed up his things and vanished - he was only 18 at the time. Nothing else is known after that point other than he doesn't talk much and that he doesn't stay in one area too long, he's worried if he gains someone's trust he'll lose them like he did his father. It has ancient Dwemer runes that when the correct words are spoken certain enchantments can be activated. No one but Valon knows what these words are. -Dwarven Luck- A delicately crafted crossbow that Valon uses for long range and to scale mountains. He has a wide assortment of bolts at his disposal. -The Migraine- Valon's shield, it's made of the rarest Dwemer alloy, and when is bashed over anyone's head it causes their ears to ring giving them a very bad headache. -Chestplate- A Dwemer chest piece that is made from a secret mineral that can deflect any arrow or bolt. It has runes carved along the ridge of the collar making it immune to fire, ice, and shock. -Leggings- Dwemer legs that are made from a secret mineral that can deflect any arrow or bolt. It has runes carved into the knee pads that allow the armor to be fire, ice, and shock proof. -Gauntlets- Made from a secret Dwemer mineral these gauntlets are arrow and bolt proof. They are also immune to fire, ice and shock magic, but they also have a hidden crossbow inside that can be deployed out of the wrist with the tap of a button.[/i] [b]Skills[/b]: -Mastery in swordsman ship -Mastery in Archery -Mastery in Smithing -Very intelligent -Can hear things most cannot (mainly because he's part blind, since he can't see well his hearing has adapted and can now hear things from miles away) -Mastery at machinery

        I had a lot of fun reading these, so I'll share my skyrim character. Talius Verun Breton vampire lord Uses sword and shield as a human Backstory [spoiler]Born on a farm he had a fairly average life. Grew up, got a wife and had a child. Bandits raided his farm, killing his wife and child and taking him prisoner. They kept him tied up and tortured him for fun. Months later, a vampiress raided the camp and found him. She freed him and in exchange Talius allowed her to feed from him to regain her strength. They adventured together for a while during the time Talius was learning his powers. They eventually married and moved to Solitude for the avaliable victims. There he heard rumors of a castle filled with powerful vampires in the north. His wife was happy with what they had and stayed home. He found the castle and the vampires trained him to new heights and gave him the power of a vampire lord. However, when he learned of the human cattle the vampires kept he was disgusted and fled, taking the cattle with him. He lead them to a small village where they settled and he continued on. When he returned home he found that his wife was slain by the guard after they discovered she was a vampire. He fled Solitude with a large bounty, and has since been a wonderer. [/spoiler] Skills: [spoiler]excellent sword and shield user. Proficient in enchanting, smithing, and destruction.[/spoiler] Weaknesses: [spoiler]fire, sunlight, hates bandits with a passion which causes him to be reckless, refuses to work with others or form emotional attachment after the death of his second wife. Trained to act as a pickpocket, he's perfected his skills immensely, and is undetectable. Wearing typical guild armor, he's extremely quick as well. While quick on his feet, he's not quick to trust, and is fairly aggressive. Wolfe carries a sword and a dagger, but often hesitates to use them, preferring to run if things get dicey. He's typically a quiet character. While not sociable, he does get along with his pet, a large creature he found from a daedric portal, something similar to a dragon, but not magical, and much smaller. The beast he calls Red. The only protection for his arms and upper legs is the clothing he wears under the armor, and his own natural toughness. This custom armor is about as strong as a fully upgraded set of Steel Armor. The Jarl heard of the tragic accident and summoned Tulfric. He told him about the Dawngaurd. A force who's main purpose was to hunt Vampires. He's continued his life living as a Vampire, and a servant of Molag Bal, earning his namesake, and creating the legend known as the bloodthief. Possesses the ability to block out the sun with the bloodcursed Elven arrows, only possess 5, however. Height; 6' Weight: 150lbs Affiliations: Vigilants of Stendar, Dawnguard Backstory [spoiler]Alexander Ilthari awoke in an oasis valley in Elswyr with no memories of his past and a four eyed mask on his face that he could not remove. He was taken in by a nomadic tribe of kahjit and to this day is called Sho'vothar amongst them. He spent 10years with them, and eventually found a wife, named Arti'mendras. Everything changed when the cultists of Molag Bal attacked, killing everyone, including his wife, and carrying off his daughter. Ilthari pursued them but arrived at their fortress to late. Molag Bal had been called forth, and by the time Ilthari fought his way to the central chamber, his daughter had been transformed into a daughter of coldharbor. Ilthari was forced to kill his own daughter. Afterwards he killed every single one of the cultists. For the next 20 years he became the masked terror of any and all things daedric and vampiric. His fight against Molag Bal drew the notice of the vigilants of stendar, as well as the daedric prince meridia. She granted Ilthari the weapon [i]Dawnbreaker[/i] while the vigilants aided him in finding the next site for the summoning of Molag Bal. When the place was at last found, Ilthari went to it with every vigilant available. They assaulted the castle and broke into the summoning chamber. There, Ilthari defeated Molag Bal in single combat, slaying his avatar and earning the title Godslayer. Ilthari was still not satisfied, and now seeks a path into Coldharbor, so that he can kill Molag Bal once and for all.[/spoiler] Weapons: [spoiler]Ilthari caries two ebony katana that he dual wields. These katana can absorb and redirect magical energy. He also carries the Dawnbreaker, but only uses it on vampires. Lastly he carries the silver bow of his wife. This weapon has the power to banish any daedra is strikes.[/spoiler] Armour; [spoiler]Ilthari wears a suit of Light Ebony Armour. It is enchanted with Resist Magic He also wears a cloak that can transform into wings on command. Ilthari's four eyed mask is permanently attached to him. It cannot be damaged, even by a direct strike from the Mace of Molag Bal. It can detect and distinguish between living, undead, Daedra, and machines. They can be directed even though walls or while invisible.[/spoiler] Skills: [spoiler]Ilthari is a master swordsman, Archer, and Healer Resist Fire: As a Dumner, Ilthari will resist 50% of all fire damage. Kahjit Training: Due to his time with the kahjit, Ilthari is a master hand to hand combatant, dealing as much damage unarmed as a kahjit. Silver Tounge: Ilthari has a Speech of 100, all perks[/spoiler] Weaknesses: [spoiler]Sorrow: Ilthari still feel pain for the loss of his family, and as cannot receive the benefits of encouraging spells I.e. Courage Rage: Ilthari will attack any vampire or daedra on sight, with no thought for reason or mercy. This also applies to summoned Atronachs Distrust: Ilthari has spent a third of his life amongst Kahjit, as such his speech and manor isms are more like theirs, he is also distrustful of non-Kahjit.                         • Name: Luis Bennu aka Phoenix; The Dwemer Swordsman; Half-breed; The Wanderer, Firetongue, Emberdance, the Pyromancer... Age: Withheld, but looks to be somewhat youthful; perhaps 19-26. Race: Half-breed of Redguard and High Elf/Altmer Height: 6"1 Physical Appearance: A somewhat lighter skinned Redguard man with High Elf features like the ears and pure amber eyes. A decent physique and complexion with short black hair. Left eye is missing, replaced with a complicated metal oculus-like eyepatch that glows blue Occupation: Weaponsmith, occasional sellsword, scholar, pyromancer, inventor... Affiliations: Partial companionship with the College of Winterhold for research purposes, known to consort and train with Guilds across the lands... Backstory: [spoiler]They called him a lot of things, but it all depended on where he was and who he was around. Some said he was a genius in the field of Dwemer technology. Others said he was a living disgrace that shouldn't have been born. But you might just find someone who says, "Who, by the Nine's holy names, is that?" Luis Bennu cared not for how people labelled him. He cared not that his mother was probably a tavern whore wench and his father was probably some skooma-high magician looking for a warm bed at the inn. He cared not of the constant dangers he faced in his line of work. Left to wander at a young age, he took the name Phoenix to, at first, represent his new birth after becoming a well known drifter, constantly learning across his travels. The name was further signified when he discovered he had a natural talent for pyromancy. He soon excelled in his scholarship, eager to refine and master his skill. Through his travels he has also become an expert (if not a master) swordsman with a unique, mix-up fighting style to boot. However, his thirst for knowledge drove him to points of questionable actions. Rumours around him say that he lost his right eye to a Daedric Prince, while others say that his mixed heritage signifies that he IS a Daedric Prince. It is even said that he is the last Dwemer, hence his understanding of so much of their technology. This last claim is obviously false. Regardless of scandals and rumours, the philosophical adventurer seeks a life worth living. Be it looking for arcane knowledge or proficiency with a blade, Bennu is always looking for purpose. To be a man in such times with the kind of status as he has seems to be a harsh fate by the Nine to most. But to him... To me... It seems a life worth living.[/spoiler] Weapons: [b]Onyx Dwemer Katana:[/b] [i]"Fire itself is a beautiful thing, but the art of pyromancy is shaping that wonderful flame into something even more magnificent. A blade of such calibre that wields and illustrates with fire itself... Yes, that is a beautiful thing indeed." ~Bennu's Journal, Personal Dwemer Tech[/i] The black, curved Dwemer blade is quite the feat, even for dwarven standards. The sheath has storage and room for a medium viscosity oil which the blade can be coated in while not drawn. Upon taking out the blade, carefully carved metalwork and fiery enchantments ignites the oil and gives a potent, burning edge. The black Dwemer steel is heavily resistant to the heat, making this eastern blade unique to other fire enchanted swords. Does hell of a lot of damage to Vampires due to its internal burning wounds. (Cont'd) [spoiler][b]Kneebane:[/b] [i]"Humour in such times is invaluable. What better way to express one's laughter through the times of violence than an arrow to their knee?" ~Bennu's Journal, Personal Dwemer Tech[/i] Kneebane is a compact Dwemer crossbow. While Luis himself is not a remarkable archer, it is used for ranged combat and exploratory purposes (grappling bolts, ranged demolition, delivery of poison, etc.) [b]Personal Silver Dagger:[/b] [i]"Always keep a knife on you. Be it for a stray wolf or prying through wood and metal, a knife has the versatility a sword and a battle axe don't." ~Bennu's Journal, Personal Tips[/i] A short silver dagger, it is usually used for non-important adversaries when swordsmanship is too tiresome, or when an area is too enclosed and tight. Does extra damage to werewolves, as per all silver weapons.[/spoiler] Apparel: [b]Onyx Dwemer Half-Skull:[/b] [i]"Anonymity in any kind of work is valued at one point. Masks are worn at all the time, but this particular mask happens to be an intricate work of art as well." ~Bennu's Journal, Personal Dwemer Tech[/i] A black metal battle mask that covers the lower half of the face, it is highly mechanical in structure with braces and valves lining the jaw area. It has the ability to spew forth a cloud of flesh boiling steam from its "maw". This eyepatch does hold a secret however. When he made a deal with the Daedric Prince of forbidden knowledge, his left eye was turned into an oculus of infinite calculation and observation. This would've turned him insane, but the machinations of the eyepatch harness the power of the Eye and breaks it down to a more perceivable level. From small calculations and puzzle solving to applied battle tactics and understanding lost languages, the Eye is capable of a lot of things. [b]Dunmer's Overcoat:[/b] [i]"The ashen deserts of Morrowind are not forgiving." ~Bennu's Journal, Personal Notes[/i] A simple black overcoat with some black dwarven plating attached to the shoulders, elbow, and forearm area, it is made for mobility and speed with modifications for opportune moments of combat or danger.[/spoiler] Skills: •Mastery in Pyromancy, but not any other destruction Magic •Mastery in One-Handed Swordsmanship •Mastery in Smithing, Alchemy, and Enchanting •Adept in Archery Feats: •One of the first scholars to uncover hidden Dwemer technology •Made a deal with Hermaeus Mora, left eye was endowed with infinite calculation as a gift/curse (see above for details), has turned all fire related attacks blue •Has made a unique mix of Pyromancy and Swordsmanship •Has cut a bandit's poisoned arrow out of the air... Twice •Has won a duel with the Jarl's court Mage •Slew a coven of snow dwelling Hagravens •Was to become a Thane of Windhelm (after the latter), but was denied after the Jarl saw his heritage

                            Name: Thor, better known throughout Tamriel as Swordfall, Dovahkiin. Race: Nord Age: 23 Height: 6'2" Weight: 146 Gender: Male ( And straight, of course.) Affiliations: Greybeards and the Ebonheart Pact. Backstory: [spoiler]Born in Skyrim's Eastmarch region, his family built a house along the border between The Rift and Morrowind's Stonefalls region shortly after his birth. There, Thor was raised. He also learned of the Tribunal, and later came to worship them as the Dunmer did. At the age of 13, Thor was sent to Mournhold in Deshaan to learn how to fight, and to gather whatever other knowledge he wished to know. While there, he became incredibly skilled with a greatsword and decent with a bow. When it came to greatswords, Thor could beat his master within one year of training, and his master was known as one of the best swordmasters in Morrowind. With a bow, although less talented with one, Thor won a few competitions and bouts, but he only ever established a minor name for himself when it came to archery. Thor was also found to be much more cunning and intelligent than your average Nord, but still unable to top any of the Elf species. Once his training was complete, he set out for Davon's Watch at age 17. There, he also learned the craft of blacksmithing. By the time he was 19, he had grown weary of his meager life in Davon's Watch and wanted to return to Skyrim. So, he gathered his belongings and set out. Once he reached his family's home, however, he found it smoldering with his sibling's charred corpses inside. He found his parents a few miles away at an inn. They explained to him that something, they didn't know what, had flown over his house and set on fire. As they tried to evacuate, his siblings were cut off from his parents by falling debris. They think Thor's younger brother may have escaped, but they weren't certain. Thor's older sister was away on a journey to Windhelm in Eastmarch, Thor's birthplace. So, hoping to find his brother there as well, he set out for Windhelm. On the way there, he spotted the shadow of something matching his parent's description of what burned down his house, so he chased it to a ruin atop a mountain. There, he discovered that's where the creature was roosting. Then, the creature landed, revealing itself to be a dragon. The dragon took to the skies again and rained flaming death upon Thor. After taking cover, Thor brought the dragon to the ground with seven arrows through his wings. Then, Thor leaped from the tower he had been shooting from, and drove his greatsword through the beast's skull, killing it. Once he pulled the sword from the dragon's skull, the dragon began to disappear as its skin was burned away and a great wind kicked up around Thor. Then, the dragon was nothing but a pile of bones and scales. But, Thor seemed to have absorbed the wind, and felt a great change inside of him. He was drawn to a nearby wall in the ruins with writing he couldn't previously understand, but now it called to him, begging him to read it. Upon doing so, an ancient word he only vaguely understood erupted from his mouth, and the words shattered the wall to pieces. One week later, he had arrived at Windhelm and told his sister of the family's fate, and of his experience at the ruins. After getting through her shock and questions on the remaining family's condition, she told Thor to seek out the Greybeards to help him with his strange experience. Once he found them, they marveled at him, then told him the legend of the Dragonborn. Once complete, they told him that he was the next Dragonborn, meant to slay this recent wave of dragons. And so, he set out across Skyrim, searching for dragons to slay, new shouts to master, and helping anyone who needed it. He also ventured into Morrowind again, and helped the Ebonheart Pact. However, he never took part in the battle of Cyrodil. And in more recent years, Thor has helped citizens of the Aldemeri Dominion, though never joining them, and also journeyed to the lands of the Daggerfall Covenant.[/spoiler] Weapons: [spoiler] He carries an ebony greatsword with an enchantment of frost on it as his main weapon. Thor named the blade "Dragon Reaper" in a gloating remembrance of the dragons he's slain. He also carries an unenchanted ebony bow with dwemer arrows in the quiver. Hidden in his belt, he carries a dagger with an enchantment of flame just in case he loses Dragon Reaper. Thor also knows a little bit of magic, but not much. Just healing spells, and fire spells. He can also tap into some powers the Ebonhearts brought out in him, and summon spiked armor to reflect a small amount of magic damage back at his adversary, and he can summon a shard of obsidian from his hands to knock his opponents to the floor for a short amount of time while also hurting them.[/spoiler] Armor: [spoiler] He wears a set of Nordic Carved Armor. Made from steel, he also put resist fire on his chestpiece and leggings, resist poison on his helmet, and resist lightning on his greaves. However, Thor is always seeking to improve his armor and is currently working on Ebony armor, with either Dragon armor or Daedric armor planned for the future.[/spoiler] Skills and perks: [spoiler]Resist cold: Being a Nord born in Skyrim, Thor is mildly resistant to any type of cold or frost. Nordic talent: Also with the traits of a Nord, Thor is very effective in combat, and a master with greatswords. Dovahkiin's Thu'um: As a Dragonborn, Thor can make use of the language of the dragons to cast powerful spells known as Dragon Shouts, words of power that can only be used by dragons, Dragonborn, and a select few individuals. currently, Thor only knows Unrelenting Force (Fus Ro Dah!), Bend Will (Gol Hah Dov!), and Call Dragon (Od Ah Viing!). While he knows some of the words to others, Thor refuses to use the shout until he knows it all. Fortunately, he's still finding more words to the shouts and is currently researching the Dragonborn before him, the slayer of Alduin. As he researches that Dragonborn, he is trying to locate where he can learn the Dragonrend shout, a shout that can bring great dragons such as Alduin to their knees (if they have any).[/spoiler] Weaknesses: [spoiler] Filled with sorrow: After the death of most of his family, Thor isn't too friendly with people because he doesn't want to become too connected to them. And, he isn't the most mentally stable of people either, but he's better than most. Nord pride: Thor is rather reckless sometimes, since the idea of his Nordic ego and being the Dragonborn sometimes goes to his head. No time for reason: Sometimes, if pressured and not thinking straight, Thor may abandon a well- laid plain on a hunch, or he may make a hasty decision regarding someone else that would have turned out better if he thought it through for a second.[/spoiler]

                            • Kills-All-Evil Race:Argonian Class: Templars Bio: Vowed revenge against the daggerfall covenant for killing his village. He uses healing spells to aid himself and his allies. Also summons a spear to throw or jab him foes. One day as he is patrolling the rift he is attacked by a were wolf and uses his newfound power to attack the covenant directly.

Height: 6'4" Weight: 120 Lbs Affiliation: Dark Brotherhood Backstory: [spoiler]Born in Morrowind, Nanmor showed he was a unique child from the start. From an early age, he showed that he had a taste for blood, and was hunting in his own by the age of 10. Through this time, he became exceptionally great with a bow, and is known to be one of the greatest, if not the best, archer in Tamriel. Once he hit adulthood, he murdered his parents and was never caught. He didn't resurface for many years until he was found in Skyrim, drunk in a bar. He was sent to prison for 10 years, when he was released, he started to wander. Until one day, he stumbled across the Dawnstar entrance to the Dark Brotherhood hideout. He walked in, curious, and discovered the group of assassins. For unknown reasons, he wasn't killed by the people he intruded on. He ends up becoming an assassin for the Broterhood, and was quickly shown to be adept at his new job. Now, he's their top Agent, and is almost always sent on the more important contracts. He also now leads all chapters of the Brotherhood throughout Tamriel. [/spoiler] Weapons: [spoiler]Bow and Arrows: A bow of his make, he hasn't revealed how he made it to fire so true and so fast, but some suspect magic. Magic: He knows numerous spells, but his knowledge of magic is rather new, so he isn't a master. Bladed Weapons: Nanmor is proficient with swords and knives, and an beat the average swordsman in a fight, but against a master, he'd have difficulty. [/spoiler] Skills: [spoiler]Stealth: Nanmor is an exceptionally stealthy person, and always walks around without making noise. Archery: He is considered to be the best archer in Tamriel, and lives up to that title. They were known for being quite evil, raiding villages, decapitating kings, and even fighting along side dragons. They also owned most of Solsthiem creating a horrific image towards the people living there. They lived in the time of Alduin, they served him but not how the dragon priests served him. They would only call upon him if they needed aid in battle, they did not worship him as a god. Their god however was Molag Bal, one of the highest Daedra to ever live. The family obeyed him so much that Molag himself gave them the hammer Valenrung. They used it for centuries, until the day the ancient scholars fought against Alduin and banished him. The family fought with Alduin till the very end, which was getting slaughtered by the Emperials when they tried taking down Alduin along side the scholars. The family was then taken to the corner of Sosthiem to be buried in large tomes in the Hallow of Norsabal. But years after adventurers decided to become nosey and they searched for the so called "treasure" in Norsabal. They destroyed every tome and santuary trying to find it. They did not succeed, but they did awaken a being that had come back from Sovngarde to kill the men you destroyed his tome. Which this then lead him on a wild hunt, he ventured across Sosthiem to learn that they were in Skyrim. He then took a boat there asking people if they had seen the men. Until finally one day he came across a town in which they supposedly lived in. He went from door to door until finally finding them. When a man opened the door he took control over him and made him kill his companions in there sleep. He then stopped possessing the man making him dizzy, Yorgvaegar took out his sword and drove it straight into the man's stomach. Then kicking him into a fire causing the entire house to burn down getting rid of the evidence that he had killed the men. Now that he had finished what he had been trying to do for years, he decided to go somewhere quiet and ponder on what he should do next. As it gains power, animals, people, and even dragons have to do your bidding. -Call of Valor- The valiant of Sovngarde hear your voice, and journey beyond space and time to lend aid. -Disarm- Shout defies steel, as you rip a weapon from the opponents grasp. -Dragonrend- Your voice lashes out to a dragons very soul, forcing the beast to land. -Slow Time- Shout at time and command it to obey, as the world around you stands still. -Whirlwind Sprint- The Thu'um rushes forward, carrying you in its wake at the speed of a Tempest.[/spoiler] Secrets: -Yorgvaegar doesn't [i]always[/i] have to be etheric, he can go back to a solid form if he chooses. -When enraged he can summon an army of undead, they stay alive for 3 minutes (turns).
