Mmmmm Messenger
Hit my ultimate weapon in the Lighthouse on Monday --- Messenger (Adept). It exceeds my expectations. Anyone else love their high impact pulse rifles?

I've got one in each element, when I use it in trials I like to switch elements every round just to see if an opponent notices.

1 ReplyI don't have an Adept version, but I absolutely love the one I've got! I'm anxious to give it a try in IB this week and see how well it counters against all those Thorns.

Void, arc and solar. One that fits all weapon.

Unfortunately not gone flawless, but do have an un-adept(?) version. Very nice pulse rifle.

Got that Void Messenger the second week of trials. Oh boy is it fun.

4 RepliesCongratulations! That is the weapon to have these days, and I salute you on your victory in the trials! I also love the high impact pulse's. Personally however, I prefer Three Little Words over the Messenger. The weapons have pretty identical stats and perks, right down to the third eye, headseeker, and a recoil reducing perk. The difference is that 3 little words recoils straight up, but only slightly. This makes it SUPER easy to land one in the chest and two in the head, regularly activating the headseeker perk a maximum percentage (2/3's) of the time. The Messenger doesn't recoil at all, which normally is AWESOME. But it wastes the headseeker perk. All three rounds land in such a tight grouping, that they all hit head or not -either way the perk does nothing a vast majority of the time. If Messenger had glass half full, or full auto, it would be a monster. Its still a really solid weapon, but I feel like the headseeker holds it back.

Don't have the adept version but it is really satisfying to 2 shot players from pretty far away lol
