Do you have a link or source that confirms last gen is the reason why we can only patrol with 3 other players?

I got my info from basic coding and such. Do you ever wonder why it takes forever to load the pause menu when you go to use you heavy ammo synth? It's because the game can barely handle itself on past-gen. Bungie literally took out the compare stats function when you're in your vault just so that they could add more vault space...
