LMFAOOO Luke Smith IS OFFICIALLY A TOOL So let me get this correct, You are still charging $40 dollars for the standalone Taken King edition?, plus an additional $20 If you want what comes in the Collectors Edition So the Price of 1 full game IS THIS GUY SMOKING SOME SPACE CRACK?????. I appreciate you trying on fixing the issue with your apology letter but you just smacked your year 1 Vets in the Face again Dude LAY OFF THE DRUGS. Taken King Should be $20 Dollars Stand Alone and an Extra $10 for that additional content you get from collectors edition ill pay $20 if the Taken King Stand Alone Edition is $20. You ain't making anyone happy you didn't addressed the issue at all you in fact added more issues. Someone please shoot this guy with a Thorn or A Gjallarhorn.

They are selling the Taken King with Destiny and all the previous expansions for $60, so they value all the previous expansions and core game at $20. With the added digital content for the Collector's Edition, the whole package was $80, meaning they valued those digital extras at $20. As a community, we said that we don't want to have to buy the full game again, so they separated out those digital extras, which is exactly what we asked for. Now I agree, that $20 is high for that extra digital content and this does not address the fact that they basically place no value in their pricing on the physical extras included in the hard copy of the collector's edition, but they did address the main issue most people had with the pricing structure. You just fall into that category of "You can't please everyone".

I don't wanna pay the appropriate value for twice the content of a normal dlc I deserve to have it for close to nothing because I said so. Bungie doesn't deserve to turn a profit for making a awesome game that everyone plays for hours on end. They should apologize for even trying to come to a compromise even though as consumers we don't deserve anything for complaining. How dare they care about us and wanna make us happy. All I'm saying is this company should be shut down for giving a crap about its consumers, apologizing when they didn't need to and creating options for us undeserving Entitled assholes to get the content we begged for. I mean come on who does that?

3 RepliesYou're an entitled gamer, then. TTK being 40 is acceptable, but 20 for the whole expansion? TFG over here. but you are right about the digital goodies being too expensive. Take a moment, and think about this. With all the game and DLC out for year 1 (95 bucks US) and the year 2 expansion and possible DLC's (75 bucks, total is 170). now, you divide 170 by 24, thats 7.08 a month if you were to play it with a sub fee and the entire game was FREE! That's cheaper than most garbage MMO's nowadays.

Granted I'd vote 30$ for the expac since it's about half the original content, at least he issued an apology for basically calling the gaming community a cash cow. 40$ is not that unreasonable, and I'll be buying the DLC, this makes having the original content at least worth about half its original value to get everything. It could be a little better, however it is a decent deal that I'm willing to go for.
