Consoles are fine, I have a PS4, but I'd much rather play on my gaming PC. The graphics, frame rate, and refresh rates are significantly better on the PC than on any console unless it's just a poorly done console ported game. Having all my games on a solid state drive means almost no loading screens at all and I can also connect to 5G routers instead of being limited to 2.4GHz connections (which sucks because the 2.4GHz connection on my router is absolutely terrible and causes my game to lag on the PS4. Steam is also one of the best things about PC. Along with being able to mod all of your non-multiplayer games. Games like Skyrim, Oblivion, or Fallout just aren't the same on consoles where you can't mod them. I always buy games for PC over my PS4 if they're available (unless I'm getting it just to play with my console friends or it's console exclusive). That said, I think PS4 is fine if that's your thing or you don't have the money for a good gaming PC, but PC is undeniably the the best platform to play on if you can. I actually bought my PS4 specifically for this game (bought the console bundle). I only have a few other games for it because I'd rather play them on my PC.

Thank you for this. No one would give me a proper response. They always say its because PC master race. And my console is Xbox One. But I'm planning to pick up a 4 so I can specifically compare them two myself. I have a steam box (which is like a console but its a PC in case you might have not known but you probably do) and its fun. I enjoy playing games like Red Orchestra and Gmod and Killing Floor. Haven't really made a full transition. But anyways, thank you for the explanation.

XB1 is fine too. I don't care for console war nonsense. I just found that the PS4 better suited me. Before I had the money for a really good PC and before the current generation of consoles, I only played on the Xbox 360. I ended up owning 3 of them because of hardware failures though. Before that I had both a PS2 and the original Xbox. Never owned a PS3 though.

Yeah. I've owned a 2, 3, and I want to get the 4. I've owned the original Xbox and 360 and now I have a One. I avoid console wars in general. There are no valid arguments involved with it.
