1 ReplyI understand people get upset when they feel they're getting ripped off by a product. But the normal behavior is to correct the little personal injustice by returning it, or they getting it replaced, whatever. They don't sit there, stress themselves out, and stare at something they don't like or don't agree with whilst creating conspiracy theories. Regarding your comment about Bungie putting the nail in the coffin on their own product, companies tend to avoid purposefully performing actions that could cause them to go out of business. I have finally come to the realization that I disagree with Bungie's business practices, so I'm moving on. I put a lot of hours into this game, and I got my perceived and physical value out of Destiny. It was very fun. I'll definitely watch the reviews of TTK when it releases and possibly put Destiny back on my list of favorite things to do again.

10 RepliesYour absolutely right. The lack of content in this game has been upsetting since its initial release. There will always be people who make excuses (it's only the beta). However, the proof is there and it's obvious from Luke's interview that they are satisfied with what they are delivering. Those of us who are not satisfied have some decisions to make. I enjoy playing Destiny, but I'm not sure I'm willing to throw my money at the screen any longer.

Your premise relies too heavily on the idea they are aware they are selling snake oil, but trying to convince us otherwise, when it is more likely that they know how hard they are working to create content and really believe it's worth it. I think that idea gets lost in critique often. Even bad games have people that work really hard on them and they want that fact to show through when consumers purchase. That personal attachment colors how they speak of the game. Their intent is not to mislead, it's the inherent bias of that personal attachment.

2 RepliesI hate to say this but I'm also going to wait till September to see/hear what other things they will offer in this Expansion. It might be a little too late to add anything, but as a day one player that had to buy the game twice(360 and X1)I'm hoping that we get something better than the CE stuff. For me when it comes to buying DLC, I buy story related stuff, campaign stuff, I do that with all the games I buy. Please make it right Bungie.:)

Yup. Kinda obvious ain't it. Before the contract was signed, pre game drop, the hype was real. On the bungie forums, etc. then after alpha and beta, reality set in. about the only thing that is true to the game is VOG, a masterpiece of a game, raid. Since VOG up till now, it has been very actisad :(
