How many gorgons have you killed?
Some time after the house of wolves dlc came out, I was in a group doing VOG normal. When we got to the gorgons, we decided to ef around and see how many gorgons we could kill before we couldn't kill anymore and ended up killing 4. Granted we had a few lvl 34s with maxed gallys and others with hoc. Has anyone tried killing all of them with a group of all 34s, all maxed gallys? The final hidden chest might be found if all the gorgons were killed....

This had been brought up numerous times already. Check out the Destiny subreddit, there's a lot of info there too. The Gorgons have a 30 second respawn timer, so in order to kill them all you and your team have to move quickly. Not only this, but they are granted an immunity for a few seconds after each one is killed. If you use solar on the first, the second one will be immune to solar damage for a few seconds. So initial rounds from you're Gjallarhorn won't do much. My clan and I have only killed 8 before succumbing to their gaze.
